- Unusual form: texts. The exchanges here reveal a relationship unfolding in seemingly real time. Oddly, unput-downable, once you puzzle out what these two are doing. (MaryLTabor)
- their messages between each other are funny and informative. The cases Jack works and the feed back he gets from Ceci really makes the book a must read.
