"Do I know you?" Her voice quivers

He crouches down, close enough to see the layers of scars that healed overtop of each other on her skin. On one knee, he looks down at her.

Did I meet these creatures in my forgotten life? Does that mean I kept my promise to Dena?

The reaper that followed her, steps beside them glancing at the scythe in the soil.

"Sam? What if she's lying? We've seen what the Lost's can do," She grumbles

Sam chuckles, tilting his head as he looks at Reanna. "They never act stupid,"

Examining the creatures around her, she saw 3 skeletons behind Sam, wearing black cloaks over their white bones. One tumbles to the ground as the chain on its wrist is tugged.

"Maybe this one's dying?" Sam suggests, glancing up at the reaper.

Will they kill me?

She glances at Sam than at the skeletons behind him. The reaper gets up and pulls the chain towards him, dragging a Lost Soul towards them. It hissed, trying to bite the chain wrapped around it's neck.

What's wrong with them? Why aren't they attacking us?

The chain ripped open the creatures bubbling skin, dripping black goo down it's tortured body. It looked up at the reaper holding the chain, sharing a glance before looking back down. Red tears left the monsters eyes as it crawled to the other Lost Souls. 6 of them sat on the ground with the same bubbly skin, red tears and dull eyes that stare at nothing.

"Or she's actually here," Sam says, pulling his scythe out of the ground.

He flips the weapon and presses the blade against her throat.

"Why would she do something so stupid? Does she want to die?" The reaper crosses her arms.

"Don't be so quick to judge, Hannah,"

You won't do it. Because you know me, some version of me that I've forgotten. Those memories will stop you from ending me.

Sam pushes the blade onto her skin, ripping it apart. Ruby red blood falls on the blade, curving down her neck. He chuckles, taking the blade away.

"I recommend that you come with us. For your own safety, Reanna"

He puts the weapon on the case in his back and offers her a hand.

Why can't I just have a peaceful afterlife?

Reanna glances around the forest.

This peace won't last long.

"I'll come with you, if you don't hurt me," She takes his hand, pulling herself up.

Sam smiles at her, the reapers behind him chuckle. "That's not part of our job, but I can't say the same for them," He points to the Lost Souls with his thumb.

Why do they have those monsters?

"Where are we headed?"

"To meet Death. I suggest you walk beside me, it will decrease your odds of dying,"

I don't have a good feeling about this, but it's the best option since Theo left.

She stands beside him, just within arms reach.

A reapers split from the group and stand in front of them. Hannah makes her way to the back of the group.

I hope my absence didn't ruin Liam's day. I wonder how they'll receive the news of my death? Will I be buried under the snow until New Years? Or will someone brace the snowstorm to search for me? Maybe mom will cancel Christmas to search for me? I bet my father will be happy that he doesn't have another person to yell at, but all his anger will go to Liam now.
