Forty Five

Nate pov-

I pull into the motel and walk up to front desk. I pay for the room even though I'll only be there for a second. I've been keeping a huge secret from Liv, one that would definitely end our relationship completely. She can never know.

"Finally" Maddy said opening the door as soon as I walk up

"I was busy. Can we just get this over with?"

"What's the rush? Gotta back to Liv"

"No I had to lie to her just to come here"

"It's your own fault"

"Whatever Maddy, here" I said handing her the 200 dollars

"How long am I gonna have to pay you for this?"

"Until I feel like it" she smirked, pocketing the money. God she's annoying

I've been coming here ever Friday since Maddy stole the tape. I told Liv she didn't want anything for it- but I lied. I didn't want her to be stressed about it and I certainly didn't want her getting into it with Maddy because that's exactly what she would do.

Maddys been making me pay her, something I figured but she insists we get a motel every Friday. I don't like it, I hate it actually but I have to. I know Maddy, she will release that tape and my life will be over, completely. I don't even know what she uses the money for, and I don't give a fuck.

"Chill the fuck out, stay for minute, Jesus" she handed me a beer. I accepted it, stupidly and sat down on the bed

"I want to get back together" she blurts out

"What?"

"I miss you"

"I don't" I said plainly

She moved her body to straddle my laps, causing my breathing to hitch and my body to squirm

"Come on Nate, I don't she doesn't give it to you like I used to" she started to kiss my neck lightly while talking

"I'm with Liv"

"So?" She reached down and grabbed my hands, placing them on her hips

"Maddy I can't"

She looked up and moved her face closer to mine

"Why not?" She connected her lips with mine

I didn't kiss back, instead I pushed her off me and stood up.

"I can't"

She got off the bed and came towards me, throwing her arms around my neck

"No more payments, please just this once. I miss you" she whispered

I closed my eyes. If I do this I'll get Maddy out of my life completely. But what about Liv? I don't want to do this to her. But she wouldn't find out right? It's only one time right?

"Only one time"
