Why Should I Trust You Mastermind Byakuya X Makoto

(Byakuya's POV)

I slowly started to stir. I was in a bed, though I didn't think it was the one in my room. I was heavily wrapped in blankets. I also found I was draped in a jacket. I recognized it immediately as it was Makoto's jacket. I must have made some noise when I woke up because I saw someone get up from a chair and walked towards me. Even though I didn't have my glasses on, I still recognized him immediately.

"Makoto........" Byakuya

"Oh my god Byakuya I-I was so worried I thought I had arrived too late!!" Makoto

Makoto kneeled down next to the bed.

"I-I-I was so worried when I saw that you were passed out by the door." Makoto

Since he was closer I could make out his expression a bit but his face was still fuzzy.

"....Makoto..." Byakuya

"I quickly realized you had hypothermia and and I asked Toko what she knew about it, you know because she reads a lot so she told me what to do so-" Makoto

"Makoto......" Byakuya

Makoto just kept rambling on.

"So all of us were able to get you back up to my room so we could wrap you in blankets to get you warmer again and-" Makoto

"Makoto! .....can you please give me my glasses." Byakuya

Makoto looked startled before quickly reaching towards a table to grab my glasses. He put them on me so I could see his face clearly. Suddenly seeing his face I felt ashamed. I looked away.

"What's wrong? Is it too hot, should I remove some blankets?" Makoto

"No I......... Makoto I'm a terrible person.." Byakuya

Makoto winced.

"Byakuya I didn't mean what I said, your father.... your father made me think you were terrible but you aren't!" Makoto

"No he's right." Byakuya

I rolled over so I was facing away from him.

"I've done so many bad things.....I've hurt so many people.......I just..." Byakuya

I wiped away a tear.

"You should have just left me to die." Byakuya

"No Byakuya I would never-" Makoto

I rolled back to him.

"Why!!" Byakuya

"Because I love you!!!" Makoto

After saying that Makoto quickly leaned down and kissed me. It lasted only a few seconds before Makoto pulled away blushing. I was speechless. He put his face in his hands.

"I-I'm sorry I should have asked if it was ok first I-" Makoto

I quickly pulled him back to me and kissed him passionately. I had wanted to do this for so long, I had kissed him before but not in a long time. Not since our normal school years. Makoto put his hand on the side of my face. I opened my eyes and slowly pulled away from him. He opened his eyes. His eyes were the perfect shade of hazel.  

"I love you too, Makoto Naegi." Byakuya

Makoto blushed a lot.

"Makoto what happened?" Byakuya

Makoto sat up straight on the bed.

"Oh well, once I snapped out of.......you know I freed Kyoko and the others. They went to the mastermind room to stop your execution while I tried to get in to save you." Makoto

".....and my father?" Byakuya

Makoto looked down at his feet. 

"He's still in the school somewhere but I think we got all of the other men out of commission." Makoto

I laughed when he said that.

"What!?" Makoto

"Nothing, nothing I'm sorry. It's just saying 'out of commission' sounds so formal." Byakuya

Makoto laughed at that too. I kissed him again.

"Come on, let's go." Byakuya

Makoto looked confused.

"Where?" Makoto

"Outside of course." Byakuya

Guys oh no. I just realized that next chapter might be the last chapter for this story. Of course I have the prequel but that's kind of sad. Anyways just a heads up. I promise the prequel will be longer XD.
