I looked at the Ultimate Lucky Student in shock.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed and grinned psychotically.

"Nagito...." I whispered inaudibly.

"The Ultimates are working together to combat the despair of their friend's death!" His eyes were swirling with an unknown emotion as his grin grew wider and wider, "Let's cut to the chase, you're correct! It was my doing all along!"

"I'm the one who hid the knife under the table before the party started. I'm the one who used the power cord to find my way to the table in the dark. And of course, I'm the one who caused the blackout," Nagito listed all of the things "he did".

"After all, there's no way I'd knowingly whip out a knife in front of everyone, right? And who would've thought that Y/n was naive enough to trust me with helping them clean? Oh, how amusing..."

N-Naive...?

"I-Is it just me or does he seem a little nuts right now?" Ibuki nervously laughed from beside Nagito.

I can't believe it...

He killed Byakuya...

Did he intended to frame me from the start?!

But he was so kind...

I shouldn't have trusted him.

The trial concluded with, surpridingly, Teruteru as the blackened.

I zoned out the entire execution as I didn't want to scar myself more.

I was brought back to reality when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked at the person to find Nagito with a sheepish smile.

"Just so you know... I never intended to frame you for murder. I'm really sorry if it looked like I was...." I blinked at his apology.

He didn't mean it?

"T-Then I suppose it's alright..." Nagito let out a sigh in relief.

"Thank God you forgave me. It would be too despair-inducing if you didn't..." I awkwardly laughed along.

"Hey, didn't you say that you were going to reveal our lost memories after a murder has happened?!" Fuyuhiko glared at the bear.

"Did I?" Monokuma tilted his head in mock curiosity, "Oh yeah, I did promise to return your memories after the killing began..."

"But I didn't say that I'll tell you guys right away," Monokuma laughed.

"Wha?!"

"Th-That's so unfair!"

"Of course, I'll keep my promise to return your memories someday," Monokuma raised his paw, "But... it's still not clear when that someday may be!" He and left along with Monomi leaving us to wallow in grief and despair.

I sighed at the depressing atmosphere and zoned out to drown out the arguing of my "classmates".

I don't even know if I can consider these people as my classmates...

Heck, they accused me of murder!!

I let out a sigh.

This wouldn't have happened if I just stayed inside...

I flinched as I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Again?!

What's with people grabbing onto my shoulder—

"Y/n? Are you alright?" It was Hajime.

"Oh, Hajime... Yeah, I'm alright, It's time to get out of here, right?" I motioned to the trial room.

Hajime nodded with a small, reasurring smile and went towards the elevator with me trailing behind him, still in deep thought.
