VI.THE RIGHT HAND MAN

(Year 832)

Two little children barge their way to Aera's room. One is a girl, who looks a few years younger than Zeke while the other one is a male toddler. They rush towards Aera and look at her in awestruck.

"Hey! Ya kids shouldn't be here!" Kenny scoffs as he rises from his seat. While looking at the children, she couldn't help and remember Zeke. "Hello there."

"New sister!" The black-haired little girl hugged her feet.

"Oi! Frieda! Ulklin! The two of you should have been bed by now!" A woman in her middle age came.

"But we want to meet our little sister!" A little boy pointed at her as Aera made a wistful smile.

"It's big sister, Ulklin!" Frieda rolls her eyes.

"Come the both of you!" The woman yelled in vexation as she pulled both of the little children's ears to come with her as they wail in pain.

"Ouchy!" Two children grunted as they were pulled outside the room by their mother.

"Sorry, dear. Welcome to House Reiss." Mrs. Reiss smiled as the three left.

"Tch...kids.." Kenny scoffs as he again sits in an armchair.

Aera remained silent then side-eyes Kenny. "Ishhh...why are ya so silent! I thought ya have a big mouth! I guess I was wrong!"

Aera was pissed. "Big mouth?"

Kenny exhales then groans facing the ceiling, ignoring her question. "So how did ya like it here in the Walls?" He asked changing the subject.

"It's....." Aera paused as she look around the room. Her room was grandiosely and regally beautiful, her bed was big, and the furniture are rigidly made.

"Comfy..." She said plainly.

"You know that you're gonna stay here forever, right?" He questioned, taking off his fedora as Aera slightly widen her eyes.

"Well... At least you'll end up inheriting Agatha's Titan." He muttered, which Aera heard.

"Me?" She asked the Ackerman. She never wanted to inherit any of the Ten Titans, she wishes to live a full life but her curiosity about the Valkyrie Titan wanted her to inherit it.

"Well... I'm not sure yet!" Kenny exhaled again as Aera lifts her chin.

"Can you please just tell me something informative about the Valkyrie Titan?" She questioned.

"Why ask me?! I'm just a middle-aged man....!" The Ackerman chuckles as Aera looks down in disappointment.

"But hey! At least, you're conversing with an Ackerman!" He pointed at himself using his thumb.

"........"

"No....don't tell me..... Aren't Ackerman's exist at your history books beyond the Walls!" He yelled pointing at her in vexation.

"I never heard of your ancestry, sorry..." Aera crosses her arms as he scoffs.

"Tch! What country were you born, kid?" He asked her.

"Marley." She answered.

"F*ck Marley, they're must be deaf for not knowing us..." He said under his breath, turning away from Aera.

"What was that?"

"I said that Barley or Harley... whatever is that country called.....are deaf." He stated as Aera raises her eyebrows.

"Who wouldn't know the super ultra Ackermans!" Kenny shouted.

A/N: I'm sorry If I write Kenny's character terribly wrong..... Because I think I made him act like a drunk dude. Sorry...

"I don't.." Aera stated as she crossed her arms.

"Well then! I guess I'll teach you a lesson then!"

"Long ago, the Valkyrie Titan was called the King's sworn shield, Annabelle Fritz, protected the King with her life. While Ackerman's were the King's sworn sword. The Ackerman's were more likely minions or henchmen of Annabelle Fritz. The Valkyrie acts like a general while the Ackermans play the soldier's role. The Valkyrie. The Ackerman Can be persecuted after rejecting the King's ideology, most of the family were massacred. Only a few escaped and hide in the mountains or the underground. And so on, there are only a few current remaining members of the clan, including me."

Aera narrows her eyes and listens to him attentively. "How did the Ackerman Clan become the King's sword?" She questioned.

"Ahhh, we were the accidental result of the Eldian Empire's experiments with the Subject of Ymir and Titan science, including the Valkyries powers. We were designed to protect Eldia's King Alongside the Valkyries, and acted as the Valkyrie's right hand, entrusted with the survival of their people."

"Hence the persecution...?"

"The persecution stopped right after Uri, the king met a strong man.."

"Who?" She asked.

"Me! Kenny Ackerman!"

"Wow... Who would have thought..." Aera said plainly, making a small scoff at the fedora man. His pride is too much.

"And that was the lesson! That's enough for bedtime stories...." He rises from his seat then attempts to leave the room.

"Just remember, kid! You're not Aera Yeager anymore! Or else the government will have your head! So hang in there!" He waves with a weird grin then leaves Aera's room, by shutting the door.
