(Year 854)

"It looks different compared to last year that we came here." A black-haired girl spoke slightly tilting her head, eyeing the statue before her.

She heard a deep quick chuckle behind her, footsteps started to get closer. "Well, what can I say? The Marleyans always make sure that there will be no mere dirt on the statue. They adore Helos."

It was at dawn, a brother came to take a look at the statue of Helos with his dear sister in tow. Some may think that they decided to visit the artwork in respect of the historic marleyan soldier that defeated the two titans that hailed from the eldian dynasty, but merely the two siblings were only there to act as if Helos was real. Only the both of them outside the monarchy knew of the fabrication and none of the marleyan authorities and military knew of this.

The Tybur Family, the family that held the war hammer titan—the first eldian aristocratic family that opposed the eldian king—so wealthy and respected, secretly leading the marleyan authorities.

"I'm afraid we can't stay outside any longer, the public might see us. Come." The brother gestured for his sister to stroll with him. Long blonde hair and so tall—the current head of the noble Tybur family, Willy Tybur, and beside him was his younger sister, the holder of the war hammer—Lara Tybur.

The young one was the strongest, enigmatic that she never went to various occasions that her brother usually goes as the head of the family. Willy was more socialized and respected, likely well known to many noble families around the world. Currently, it has been a while for them to spend time together as siblings, for Willy had ventured everywhere around the world while his sister stayed beneath the shadows.

"You're going back to that library, are you?" He glanced at the figure walking next to him.

Lara dejectedly answered. "No...not anymore."

"Back then, even if you knew that your friend died several years ago, you still decided to go there." He spoke to her as the gates has been shut behind them.

"I did not return to that place for her...I was merely looking for the book that I had been reading." His younger sister uttered with her strong faint voice, correcting him.

"And you knew that it was under in the possession of your friend's younger brother," Willy added, as the grand door of the headquarters opened.

"Stop with the lies, Lara," said Willy. His tone was neutral yet it sounded very much provoking to her, she held her fair hands together, not responding to his statement.

"Our great grandpa wouldn't be actually happy if you lie."

His sister widened her eyes, clenching her fist then crosses her arms. Reminding her regarding their late grandfather would surely frustrate her that she did not want to have recollections about him, though his memories were now under her possession, so as her ancestry and the power of the War-hammer titan.

She did not want to hear anything about the past holder. Remembering the day how she slaughtered their grandfather, the memory still consumed her that it made her feel absurd.

"Let us stop this conversation."  Lara stopped in her tracks, looking down at the ivory floor. "You've been dwelling about the past that we-"

"I know. Before we received such responsibilities from our ancestry, you know that we were so...much happier compared to now." Willy wistfully interrupted her. "I have regrets, Lara."

He sat on a chair near him, holding his head faintly, as his sister looks at him in surprise. "We shouldn't have volunteered on inheriting our ancestors' duty."
