Veryan tried to snatch the crystal ball away from Pippin, but his magic quickly spurred on and pushed him back, making him loose his balance. Aragorn however did take the ball away from Pippin, but it quickly made him weak. He dropped to the ground, the ball rolling out of his hands. Gandalf jumped out of his bed, the thick material he was using to cover the ball once again in his hands. He threw it onto the ball, and it finally stopped rolling.

"Fool of a Took!" Gandalf angrily shouted, turning to look at Pippin, but when he saw the Hobbit just laying there, almost unresponsive, his anger was quickly replaced my concern.

Veryan quickly got back onto his feet, and ran past Legolas and Aragorn, the blond Elf helping the other male get back to his senses.

Gandalf too hurried to Pippin, showing Merry away almost too harshly. Veryan however cought the Hobbit, and helped him kneel back up next to his best friend. Veryan looked down at Pippin, his eyes wide open staring up. He didn't even react when Gandalf took his hand. The White Wizard placed his hand upon the Hobbit's head, muttering a few quick words under his breath that Veryan couldn't understand, and all of a sudden Pippin took in a large breath of air.

"Look at me" Gandalf smoke to the still panicked Hobbit, and the male did look at him. Veryan sighed and slumped against Merry's body just as the Hobbit did, the two relived that Pippin was alright.

"Gandalf, forgive me" Pippin smoke with a sincere tone, his eyes beginning to close again. "Look at me" Gandalf told him once again, Pippin's eyes shooting back up to do as he was told. "What did you see?"

Veryan gently leaned over and took a blanket from an unused bed, dropping it over Pippin as he began to speak. "A tree. There was a white tree in a courtyard of stone. It was dead. The city was burning"

"Minas Tirith? Is that what you saw?" Gandalf asked, his eyes almost betraying the panic he felt deep inside of himself.

"I saw..." It was clear to see that Pippin had a hard time telling them what he saw, which must of been disturbing. "...I saw him. I could hear his voice in my head"

Veryan looked up from Pippin and at Gandalf, trying to read what the Wizard knew, but Gandalf's full attention was on the Hobbit. "And what did you tell him? Speak!"

Veryan quickly reached out and grabbed onto Gandalf's arm, having seen that the shake he sent Pippin hurt the male. Gandalf briefly looked up at him, and then backed down when Pippin spoke once again. "He asked me my name, I didn't answer. He hurt me"

"What did you tell him about Frodo and the Ring?" Gandalf has once again asked the Hobbit. Pippin's breaths came out heavy as his eyes were still widely shot open.

"There was no lie in Pippin's eyes. A fool, but an honest fool he remains" Gandalf spoke to Theoden, looking twords Pippin with fondness and hidden disappointment. "He told Sauron nothing of Frodo and the Ring. We've been strangely fortunate. Pippin saw in the palantir a glimpse of the enemy's plan. Sauron moves to strike the city of Minas Tirith. His defeat at Helm's Deep showed our enemy one thing. He knows the heir of Elendil has come forth. Men are not as weak as he supposed. There is courage still, strength, enough perhaps to challenge him. Sauron fears this. He will not risk the peoples of Middle-Earth uniting under one banner. He will raze Minas Tirith to the ground before he sees a King return to the throne of Men. If the beacons of Gondor are lit, Rohan must be ready for war"

Without wasting a lot of time, Theoden spoke up. "Tell me, why should we ride to the aid of those who did not come to ours?" Gandalf frowned at Theoden. "What do we owe Gondor?"

"I will go" "I'll accompany him" Aragorn and Veryan spoke one after the other, the idea being quickly shut down by Gandalf. Aragorn looked at Gandalf. "They must be warned"
