Part 1: The Wedding

While Ruby often wondered what her life would be like in the future, she never thought she'd have another sister. She never believed she would care so deeply for Edward's mate, though as she watched Bella attempt to walk in heels, she knew she had a sister for life.

Bella was different from Alice, the tiny pixie fashion-loving vampire. She was very different from the supermodel, mechanical Rosalie. The human was clumsy, almost plain, yet she was dedicated to Edward.

Ruby giggled as she saw Alice attempting to help Bella walk in the heels. "Dearest sister, perhaps you should give into Bella's request, she is the one getting married."

"Thank you," Bella sighed in relief. She was relieved that somebody was on her side. She wanted to wear flat shoes, knowing she was less likely to hurt herself.

Alice finally decided she had tortured Bella enough, forcing the girl to go home and rest. Ruby wasn't going to leave the girl, at least not yet, she wanted to speak to the girl, to ensure she wasn't too nervous.

When Bella went into her room, she wasn't surprised to see the Hybrid sitting on her bed, smiling brightly at her. "Hi, Bella boo." "Hi," she replied to her future sister.

"Tomorrow will be a great day. You're aware it's the day you officially become my sister," Ruby reminded the girl. The thought made Bella smile. Ruby already thought of her as a sister, though by law they would be related.

"You will be a much-welcomed member of our family." A small smirk appeared on Ruby's face. "Soon Rose will become your best friend."

Bella couldn't help but snort at the girl's words. She knew Rosalie would never approve of her choice of becoming a vampire. Of course, she understood the vampire's reasons, they were just different from her own views. Rosalie wanted to become a mother, but Bella did not.

A smile appeared on Ruby's face as her phone beeped. She knew who was messaging her, an impatient imprint, a boy she had grown to love, almost believing she was in love with the wolf.

"Unfortunately, it is time for me to leave you." Ruby placed a kiss on Bella's head. "I'll see you tomorrow, sister."

The difference between Ruby and her sisters, she knew Bella was overwhelmed with the wedding, with the stress of getting ready, which is why she kicked them out of the room.

Ruby was finishing the last of Bella's makeup, smiling at her soon-to-be sister. She looked beautiful, more so than usual. The natural, plain beauty Bella possessed had changed into a more mesmerizing beauty.

"Bella?" Renee's voice called out. "I'm in here, Mom." The older woman entered, gasping as she saw her daughter. "You're so beautiful." Ruby couldn't help but smile as tears fell down Renee's face.

"Charlie, get in here!"

The man entered, stopping as he saw his daughter. "You look different." Renee slapped the man's chest before smiling at their daughter. "Your father means beautiful, honey."

"We thought you needed something blue and old," Renee said. "Besides your mother," Charlie joked as he gave Bella a silver hairclip with sapphire gems on it. "It was Grandma Swan's." "But we added the Sapphire," Renee told her.
