My Dearest Bella,

Words cannot describe how much I regret not saying goodbye, how much it pains me. I truly believe if I were to see you before I left, I wouldn't go.

I care for you more than you will ever know. You are more than just my best friend, you are my sister and I truly love you.

I didn't go with the rest of my family, nor did Edward. I am exploring once more, I am currently in England, it truly has changed.

Why didn't I take you and run away? Oh, Bella, you will never know just how much I wish I did, but I couldn't tear you away from Charlie. You only have one year left in school, perhaps then you and I will meet again.

I hate myself for what I did, though it had to be done. I will always protect you my darling Bella, until the last breath from my body is gone.
