Observing the depth of the couple's love for the child, Yi Ye, the guardian of the orphanage, couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude. Who was this lucky child? It was Dane.

After completing the necessary adoption forms, Lin Jun interjected with a pressing question, "Does the child have any living relatives?" Lin Jun turned to share the information with his wife, his gaze shifting to Yi Ye. "No, sir Lin, none of her relatives are alive," Yi Ye confirmed, her words tinged with a sense of finality.

With certainty and anticipation, Mei Ling wrapped her arms around Mei Xing, cherishing the newfound bond as they embarked on a journey together. Now, as a family united through love, they would discover the beauty and wonders that awaited them beyond the walls of the orphanage

"Um, I suppose it's finished then, isn't it?" Lin Jun mumbled, a helpless sigh escaping his lips as he nervously swallowed the saliva lingering in his throat.

Mrs. Yi Ye gracefully led the two couples and their newly adopted daughter to the waiting car outside. "Please take good care of Daney; she is our most precious princess," Yi Ye spoke warmly, her face managing a gentle smile. Lin Jun eased the car into reverse, executed a smooth turn, and then accelerated his red Lamborghini Reventon with measured speed.

The vibrant red Lamborghini Reventon Defender model came to life, adorned with brush bars, searchlights, and a siren gleaming on its bonnet. As Lin Jun departed, his car emitted a melodious honk, bidding the orphanage farewell once more.

Deep inside, little Lin Mei Xing couldn't help but miss Mrs. Yi Ye and the companionship of her unassuming friends at the orphanage. "Perhaps this would be our last meeting," Mei Xing pondered. Her eyes welled up with the shimmering tears of love, threatening to cascade down her cheeks. Since birth, she had yearned to discover the outside world, yet now, as the city unfolded before her like stars frozen in ice, bidding farewell to her first family felt incredibly painful. Even though they had kept her idle for countless days, her first farewell brought forth a tumult of emotions. "Mummy, I feel nauseous! I'm feeling sick," little Lin Mei Xing confessed, seeking comfort from her mother. Mei Ling turned to face her daughter in the back seat, her voice gentle and soothing. "This is your first time in a car, my dear, so feeling feverish is perfectly normal. Don't worry, it will subside soon, and you'll feel better," Mei Ling reassured, her words delivered with a radiant smile, causing the little girl's face to light up like a forgotten tree suddenly finding solace in a desert.

Finally, the car came to a halt in front of a grand mansion, adorned with hues of peach and yellow. Mei Xing couldn't help but be captivated by the beautiful sight of flowers adorning the mansion's gardens, their vibrant colors and fragrant scents unlike anything she had ever experienced. The moment Mei Xing stepped out of the car, a gentle breeze playfully danced through her hair, eliciting a delighted gasp from her lips. "Ahh!" Mei Xing exclaimed in joy. Mei Ling chuckled softly, ensuring her daughter's happiness every step of the way. Mei Ling was determined to care for Mei Xing, protecting her and keeping her health issues at bay.

Mei Xing possessed a beauty akin to that of a celestial being – her distinct features imbued her with the appearance of an angel. Her soft, flowing, dark hair cascaded down her back, complementing her stunning, captivating blue eyes.

Mother Mei held her daughter's hand firmly, guiding her through the garden with purpose. Mei Ling's utmost concern was the well-being of her newly adopted daughter. Though their journey through the garden was straightforward, Mei Ling's heart overflowed with motherly love, ensuring Mei Xing would enjoy a life of sound health and joy.

For Mei Xing, a good life was not sufficient; she yearned for nothing less than perfection, a life spent in harmony with her loving family. "Solange, come here!" Mei Ling called out, her voice carrying with it authority and warmth.

"Yes, ma'am, I am coming right away," replied Solange, a young girl of around sixteen, scurrying to meet Mei Ling's wife. An observer could easily discern that Solange served as a maid in the grand Lin mansion. Wearing a modest yet practical apron, she cast a curious gaze towards Mei Xing, who appeared as a stranger in this opulent residence. Solange's eyebrows knitted together, silently questioning Mei Xing's presence, causing the young girl to take a slight step back.

'She appears so young and seemingly disinterested,' Mei Xing thought, observing Solange's nonchalant expression.

"Solange!" Mother Mei called out once more as she noticed the maid's attention drifting away from her.

"Yes..." Solange stumbled at Mei Ling's feet, words barely escaping her trembling lips.

"Allow me to help you up," Mei Ling offered, extending a helping hand to Solange. "Alright, this is my daughter. I would like you to bathe and dress her neatly, and then prepare her for lunch. Do you understand?" Solange nodded in acknowledgment, then left the room. As if out of nowhere, Lin Jun appeared, approaching the door and opening it. "Come inside, both of you," he beckoned, a gentle smile gracing his features.

Mei Ling chuckled lightly, reciprocating her husband's smile. In unison, Mei Ling and her daughter strode into the grandeur of the Lin mansion.

A sense of awe washed over Mei Xing as she stepped inside the mansion. 'This is simply incredible. I never could have fathomed such opulence in my entire life,' she thought, her sincerity evident in the astonishment that lit up her eyes.
After everything, Mei Xing underwent her surgery, her life took on the appearance of normalcy, as she became the privileged daughter of a wealthy CEO and gained admission into the finest schools in town.
