MARGARET HOPE LUPIN was born golden, everyone around her would attest to this, there was just something about her that drew you in, whether it was her comforting smile or her inviting eyes, she had you in the palm of her hand in seconds. She was whatever you wanted her to be -- whatever you needed her to be. She was water. She would mould herself into anything she wanted, provided she had the right vessels. There wasn't a single person you could meet that had anything against her, not even the Slytherins... until time came for her last year at Hogwarts.
Maggie had lived a sufficiently drama-free life for a natural-born catastrophe (as much as she could with her brother's friends always looming around her, she supposed), she'd practiced control all her life and she'd done well hiding her quirk(?), however, when she let her anger get the best of her after a Quidditch game the last season, she'd been left alone to deal with enemies she'd never even met.
Enter Regulus Black, the headboy who seems to be hellbent on turning her life inside out, making her question her morals as she signs a deal with the devil (really it's just a pinky promise between Maggie and Regulus). Oh, and on top of that, as if she didn't have enough to deal with already, Regulus Black doesn't want to be a deatheater anymore, and of course, like every other problem of the people in her life, that would be Margaret's problem too.
