MAGGIE LUPIN stared at Regulus Black, chocolate croissant in hand -- she looked like a deer caught in headlights, she just stood there staring at him, she didn't even know why he'd talk to her, she'd been pretty rude to him the last time they talked. She straightened up, put a small smile on her face and an apologetic look, "Sorry, Regulus, I have to leave, my break is going to end soon." That was a lie. Her boss gave her forty five minute long lunches. Regulus looked uneasy too, just a bit, but he hid it better -- it was the pureblood family genes, she guessed. They were just good at hiding who they were. She didn't wait for a response and instead walked out, taking a bite out of her chocolate croissant. Would it be dramatic if she moaned just a little? God, this croissant was so good--
Regulus scrambled in his seat, he left his tea alone, he threw the galleon on the table for it before he rushed out of the store and followed after Margaret, "Margaret."
Maggie walked ahead of him for a few seconds before she turned around and almost jumped -- wasn't he just there at the cafe? How fast did the boy run? She frowned at him, she looked at him and then the chocolate croissant in her hand, him or the chocolate croissant? She gave a look of longing to the chocolate croissant before she put it back in the brown paper bag and she gave Regulus her attention, he seemed shocked by it almost. When he didn't say something right away she raised her eyebrows at him.
