A long update for you guys
"Have you both been to a doctor after turning 18.?" Harsh steps in between.
"Yes, I had been. Once, I had a fever, and the other time, I had a headache."kiara says, trying to change the topic.
"What, Harsh, you forgot. I saw you not even a month back." Anika's excuse was hilarious.
Aarav and Harsh started laughing.
"What excuses you make. Now tell me, have you both taken any injection, which was a vaccine after turning 18 or later." Aarav asks seriously.
They were silent. But their heads were moving as if saying no.
"Tdap booster is also remaining.What should we do?" Harsh says, acting innocent.
"What should we do? Obviously, give them both the vaccine. They can't miss such important vaccines."
Anika kept quiet, pondering over what to say.
"You are intending to give both of us 2 vaccines each out of that 1 is to prevent against Cancer." Kiara asks, without showing any emotion.
"Yes, being your friend, it's my duty to do what is beneficial for both of you. Moreover, both of you had just said you aren't afraid of it. Harsh, can you please bring the vaccines?" Aarav says to get it done faster.
Harsh leaves without wasting any time.
"Do you have everything ready all the time?" Anika asks Aarav.
"Yes, we have it ready, now don't waste time, both of you go freshen up, sort out whatever you need to do, you will go to bed after the vaccines." Aarav says, leaving no room for the girls to talk.
The girls go into their respective rooms. Harsh comes back with the vaccines.
"I got a stethoscope, too. Just in case if they feel uneasy. Which one shall we do first? Harsh says as he starts taking out the syringes and vials.
"We will do the HPV first. It's painfull so both of them together. You've got Kiara for it." Aarav says as he helps Harsh to load the injections.
"By the way, how cunningly you made them agree to take the vaccines. They couldn't get a chance to deny taking it." Harsh said as they both shared a laugh.
Anika heard their laugh and muttered under her breath. She was still thinking of avoiding taking the injections.
"Kuch plan hai kya (any plan), kiara, I am not taking the vaccines." Anika asks Kiara as they were close by.
"No option left with us, no matter we grow up, we sometimes have to follow what our close people say us to do, this time it is your friend, but I am also obligated to do what he says. Now let's go just ditch being afraid." Kiara says and goes out, making Anika follow her.
"All ready, Anika and Kiara, just relax, okay, come sit here, with your backs facing each other." Aarav says he pats seats for them.
Anika and Kiara sit as they were told, their backs together so that they couldn't see each others reactions.
Aarav stood near Anika and Harsh near Kiara. The boys were now facing each other.
Anika just glares at Aarav, which he avoids for the time being as he knows she is angry.
"Kiara, you know what? Some people look more beautiful when they are angry." Aarav says as he stands near Anika and wipes her shoulder.
Meanwhile, Harsh also wiped Kiara's upper arm.
