"I have serious anxiety issue," I opened up to him.
"I'll take care of it," he promised."I'll hurt you too," I worried.
"We'll see when it comes," he comforted."I don't even trust myself at times," I said.
"I trust you," he assured."I think I'm a burden," I scoffed.
"You are everything but a burden," he said, patting my back."I'm a failure," I huffed.
"Not at all! You're a warrior," he cheered."I don't even like myself," I said, feeling defeated.
"But I do.""I can't overcome my past trauma."
"Don't worry, we'll do it together.""You too will leave me one day," I said, looking into his deep brown eyes.
He looked into my watery eyes, and promised, "Never."But you left me.
So was this all a mistake?
Had I fallen for a lie?
