"It feels so fuckin lonely," she sighed.
"I'm there," he comforted.
She smiled to herself as the light from her phone made her eyes shine. "No, I meant here. In person."
"Compromises sadly, but something better than nothing. So if you need to vent or express, I'm here, " he assured.
She smiled sadly at how he wanted to comfort her. She sighed and shifted in her chair. "No one around to express it to," she scoffed.
"I'm still alive," he said.
She smiled the widest smile since morning.
"Unfortunately," he continued.
"Shut up," she snapped.
