I would run into a building that's on fire
if you're the one trapped in it.
Even though you were the one making me believe
that you were setting my heart on fire,
while I was only changing into ash.

I would break into a heap of ice
with my bare hands until I no longer felt my limbs
if you're the one I would find under it.
Even though you make me believe
that I am the one with a frozen heart,
while my little heart changes into stone.

I would stand in a thunderstorm,
shielding you through the fierce wind
and terrifying lightening.
Even though you were my thundercloud:
Protecting me only to your advantage,
and striking me with your lightening
when you didn't need me anymore.

I would listen to your every little happy moment,
and every time your heart ached because of her.
I would still be the friend you need
even when it breaks me
to see you with her.
Because at the end of the day,
I'm not her.
