MHA - Where is she?

Hawks was flying faster than he had ever flown before. He was trying not to panic but the way he felt his feather being squeezed and what he was able to decipher through the vibrations that followed had his mind racing. It was an eerily quiet night on patrol so he didn't give a damn if the commission gave him shit for leaving his post.

He had had a bad feeling the instant Mystic had told him about the meeting. Dabi was a scheming bastard and never followed through on plans, always doing things his own way as he did with the high-end nomu he released for Endeavor to fight. Everything seemed to be going ok after the meeting time, but 5 minutes in he felt tapping, it wasn't hard though and she tapped twice so it didn't seem urgent, just that she was letting Hawk know something. What it was, he wasn't sure. He was still just a tad too far away to hear anything just yet, so he decided to wait despite the uneasiness he started feeling.

20 minutes later he felt a tight squeeze that wasn't like before. It was hard, making Hawks flinch in discomfort. Something was wrong. He immediately dashed into the air from his post and started flying in the direction he sensed his feather was in.

As he got closer he began to feel the voices and started to decipher what they were saying. When he was finally able to understand everything more clearly it was obvious Mystic was in danger. He just hoped he could make it in time. How he would excuse why he was there he'd figure it out later. He was a Hero and he couldn't let Mystic stay in danger under his watch.

He reached the park where they were supposed to meet and saw no sign of anything. They weren't here, so they left. But where would they have gone?

Hawks was desperately trying to figure out where his feather was. He could tell it was still in her pocket but he couldn't move it, she still had it in her grasp. From what he could make of the conversation the scientist knew she was from another world. If he knows, does the league know? She's in more danger than she realizes.

Just then Hawks heard someone else. It wasn't Dabi though, who was it? Then he felt the grip on his feather get even harder before it released completely. Shit. I need to go faster! Just then he spotted Dabi and his rage was uncontrollable. Hawks flew down and landed in front of the villain. His pupils were paper thin as he stormed up to the man.

Dabi just watched him in amusement, figuring something like this was going to happen. It just added to his suspicion that Hawks was a traitor. Hawks reached him grabbed a fist full of his shirt and hissed "Where. Is. She?"

"Who?" Dabi asked, grinning.

"You know DAMN well who?" Hawks continued, tightening his grip on Dabi's shirt.

"Oh, you mean your girlfriend?" Dabi let out a chuckle. "I took her to meet someone. Don't worry, I'm due back in an hour to take her back to the park. Don't get your feathers in a twist, Birdman."

"Yeah? And just what exactly is she doing huh?" Hawks twitched his eyebrows.

"What's it matter to you, Hero?" Dabi growled. "You seem a little too interested in this girl. It's suspicious."

"Look I proved my loyalty already did I not? I still need to keep up my Hero persona for the public so they don't get suspicious." Hawk retorted.

"And? What's that got to do with the lost little doll?"

Fuck... Am I being too obvious? "She's working at UA. Don't you think they'd find it weird their newest teacher went missing so soon? And to top it off, she was seen with me by a few of the students... and Endeavor. That would raise some questions for both sides and I'd have to stop feeding you information about the Heroes. None of the other Heros in your Ranks can get the information I can so it's best she keeps up appearances at the school. Got it?'
