CHAPTER FIFTEEN : THE GRATITUDE
Ares, my father left us already.
Thank God, he was gone.
"So, that's all. Ace and Scott, give them to Roy, let's see if they survive." Ares' last reminders to us.
First of all, I don't know Roy and why would we need to survive if this will be our training.
So three days from now, the games will start. The Hunger Games.
After Ares' reminders, Ace and Scott gave us time for our last minute on Olympus.
In my mind, I would like to thank Artemis and his stupid brother, Apollo for everything.
Ace, Scott and I tried to find them and minutes later, we saw them in the terrace near the medic.
" Lady Artemis!" I shouted.
I got their attention and they saw us.
"Benjamin." said Artemis.
"Thankyou Artemis!" I gave her an unexpected hug.
"Yeah, of course. Sure." said Artemis.
" Hey. Hello! I am here. " Apollo sighed.
"Oops. Oh, Apollo. Uhmm, thanks by the way for healing me. " I said.
" Sure, whatever. " he said.
I am so annoyed.
" Ace, right?" Artemis pointed at Ace.
"Yes, and this is Scott." said Ace.
"Oh, so yeah. Benjamin." said Artemis. "Goodluck Benj. You need to win. " Said Artemis, patting my shoulder.
" Uhmm. Uhmm. " I looked at Ace asking for a reply. "Well, yeah. Thanks. "
Do I really have a chance to win?
"Anyways. What's the problem?" said Artemis.
"He has no talent. He sucks. " said Apollo.
My nerves. I am going to kill him. Apollo, you are the one who sucks, bitch.
But I tried to remain calm so that I can leave this mountain, peacefully.
I really need sponsors.
"Don't be rude. " said Ace.
"Well, that's the truth." Apollo said.
"Stop it." said Scott.
"Ace, come here." Artemis said.
They moved away from us and Artemis started to whisper to him.
" What are they talking about? " said Apollo.
No one replied to him.
Artemis and Ace came back.
" So? " asked Apollo.
" Benjamin, listen to me. There is no much time left. " she said.
I focused.
" In the games, you can win it by using your aura. " said Artemis.
"WHAT?!" shouted Apollo. "That is not allowed! "
"Yeah! HE CANNOT USE THAT KIND OF POWER!" shouted Scott.
"He can. Ares and I talked about it. Even the romans knew it. " said Ace.
"Nahh, I don't care. He doesn't know how to use it anyways. " said Scott.
"What? Is that true? You don't know Aura?" said Artemis.
Everyone looked at me, waiting for my answer.
"What the hell is that?" I said.
"NOO." said Artemis. "Ace, teach him, ok? That's the only way for him to win it."
"Yes my lady." said Ace.
"Now Benj, this is the aura. Watch me. " said Artemis.
Everyone backed off except for me, that's why I back offed to.
She made a triangle with her hands and a blue glowing light appeared at the side of her body.
It was a dark, glittered blue aura.
Her eyes started to be a plain blue with glitters.
Her appearance changed.
Tattoos of blue striped appeared at her face and she shouted.
"Aura!"
Then I was shocked.
She was floating and... and..
A MILLION BLUE, SHARP AND GIGANTIC BOWS APPEARED.
" That's how she kills. Be ready. " said Apollo.
" I am going to learn that? COOL. " I said.
"Yes, that's why we need to train. " said Ace.
