“Goodnight, bab-Riley.” Dean cringed at his slip up.
“Why do you always do that?”
“Do what?”
“You almost call me babe, like all the time. Why?”
Dean gulped as he stared at the ceiling, “It just slips...sorry.”
“Kenny is the only one that refers to me as babe.”
Dean closed his eyes tightly as he tried to keep his voice from cracking, “Right. Once again, I'm sorry.”
“I feel like there used to be something going on between us.”
Dean tried to keep his voice steady as he lied, “No, there was never anything between us.”
I honestly couldn't wait. I'm already writing the first chapter so...
