"Anwesha, meet someone who'll never meet us again."
In bright green saree, Anwesha looked like a fresh bunch of leaves, picked carefully. Her face as beautiful as ever making Kanak smile.
She had decided to go to his wedding, not because she wanted to see him but see them.
"What?"
Anwesha giggled, finding his statement funny.
"He's right, I am leaving for abroad." Kanak said.
Bhaskar was staring at her eyes which said unsaid words, inexperienced feelings, bitter emotions.
"Oh, I see."
Anwesha interrupted his thoughts. Actually, it was better like that.
"This is Miss. Kanak Ghosh."
His voice cracked at last but he was able to cop up from damage. He was tough, not fragile like son of Tara.
"And there was a time when I believed a girl with stars in her eyes couldn't shatter someone's universe. But it seems stars have to explode to form new worlds."
Bhaskar said, to which Kanak smiled.
"Bhaskar, it's all about entropy."
Anwesha ended their conversation.
And all they can do was smile together.
Two lines were drawn, which travelled long, never falling apart and never meeting together. They travelled the journey perpendicular to the world and parallel to each other.
