Tessa: are you there?

Jack: what's up?

Tessa: I miss him

Tessa: but I can't miss him

Jack: it's understandable that you miss him

Jack: it's okay, really.

Tessa: no it's not

Jack: yes it is

Jack: why wouldn't it be?

Tessa: because he's not good for me

Tessa: he hurt me

Tessa: I can't miss him

Tessa: I can't miss someone who practically broke me

Jack: Tessa, everything will be okay

Jack: I am here for you

Tessa: thank you

Jack: how bad could it be to just trust him again?

Tessa: you don't know me

Tessa: you don't know what I've been through

Tessa: you don't know who I am

Tessa: you don't know me

Jack: you're right, I don't know you

Jack: but I could get to

Jack: if you let me

Jack: will you?

Tessa: how do I know I can trust you?

Jack: you just have to do it

Jack: and let me do the rest

Tessa: I'm scared

Jack: I know, of course you are

Jack: but you don't have to be

Jack: meet me at Starbucks in 10?

Jack: okay?

Jack: Tessa?

Tessa: 20

Jack: deal.

Tessa's POV

Jack told me to meet him at Starbucks in 20. Well he said 10 I said 20. To give myself sometime to think about everything and what I might want to say to him? Do I tell him everything? Just a little bit? Nothing at all? Should I lie?

No. I should not lie I'm mad at them for lying to me.

I can't do that right back to them.

Well, to Jack. I'm not talking to the other ones. Only Jack.

Right now, it's only Jack.

I have to see if I can trust him before I go back to them,

to Zach.

I change out of my sweats in some jean shorts and a tshirt. I have to look presentable, not fancy.
