STEVE'S POV
I couldn't believe we were back at the hospital. Just a few months prior, Tony was here fighting for his life. And now Peter.
We held our breaths as the doctor walked into the room. "It was a close call, but it seems he's going to be okay. If it wasn't for that Tom kid getting him down in time, he might have not made it. You owe him."
PETER'S POV
I opened my eyes and saw Dad and Pops crying in front of me. I looked around and realized I was in a hospital bed. "What happened?" But then I remembered.
I tried to kill myself.
Dad and Pops could hardly speak. I couldn't imagine how much I hurt them. They ran up to me, pulling me into the biggest hug. "Peter, we love you so much!"
I began to cry, "I'm so sorry. All I wanted was to come home. I didn't mean for all his to happen. I'm the worst son."
"Peter, you're the best son we could have ever asked for. And guess what? You do get to come home. We won!"
That was the best news I had ever heard.
