In the meadow where the Cullens were, there was a little cliff where Ronnie stood as she watched the Vampires and Bella couple up. Paul had spoken to Sam yesterday, about the newborn army that was on the way. Along with Carlise, Sam agreed to join and to have a training session. With the sound of twigs snapping, Ronnie turned around as was in awe as the pack out in wolf form from the trees.
"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Edward spoke as Ronnie walked over to the pack.
"They came." She pointed out. "That's what matters." Ronnie went and rubbed the top of Embry's head. "Hey, Em."
"Will you translate?" Carlise asked Edward as he stepped forward. Ronnie sat down on the ground, in between Embry and Quil. "Welcome," Carlise started off. "Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them."
"They want to know how the newborns differ from us." Edward spoke, reading Sam's mind.
"They're a great deal stronger than us." Carlise looked around, "Because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." He turned around as Jasper stepped forward.
"Carlise's right." Jasper paced back and forth. "That's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands, like a human army. But no human army could stand against them." Jasper turned to look around at everyone. "Now, the two most important things to remember are, first; Never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. And second; Never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that..." Jasper quickly turned and walked on out past his family, calling for Emmett.
Ronnie sat there, watching the Cullens fight each other. As Alice and Jasper began fighting, Paul walked up behind her. She stood up and leaned against his wolf form. "Some of us are going to get hurt." She told him as she starting running her hand down his soft, silver fur. "Some of us could get killed." Paul turned his head and looked at her. "...'Cause of some stupid vampires." She then looked out to see Rosalie and Esme fighting. "It's going to be 100 times worse than this, right?"
Paul growled when Jasper and Edward walked up to them. "Everyone's done for the day. Except you." Jasper looked at Ronnie. "Carlise and I going to train you. Explore your powers more."
"Okay," Ronnie nodded her head. "It'll be fun." Paul looked at her and then back to the two vampires in front of them. "Go, it's okay." Paul followed the wolves as Ronnie jumped down to Carlise. "Let's go kick some ass!" As Ronnie shouted, Emmett began laughing.
"Okay," Jasper said as he grabbed a bag from Edward's jeep. "I've brought some frisbees, for you to hit."
They all turned around when they heard twigs snapping again. This time it was Paul; in his human form, alone. He jumped down and walked towards Ronnie. "Just wanted to make sure you're okay."
