Chapter 37: Hospital

I wake up and see that I'm in a hospital bed.

What happened? Last thing I remember is being at my house talking to Alyssa.... Alyssa.

"(Y/N)..?" I hear a males voice to my left. Then a I realize someone is holding my hand. I look and see Austin.

"Austin. What happened?" I ask.

"Alyssa pushed you into the pool, and you hit your head pretty hard on the bottom of the pool." He says.

"Wow. How long was I out?" I ask.

"About 4 hours, and the doctor says you have a mild concussion. Not too bad." Austin says. I look at the clock and see it's about 8:30 pm.

"When am I allowed to leave?" I ask. Austin laughs.

"Soon. Your mom is in signing the papers." He says.

"Ok." I say. Austin kisses my forehead. I smile.

"Your mom went off on Alyssa. I think you won't be seeing her or her family for a while." He says.

"Good." I say. Austin laughs. I hear the hospital door open, and I see my mom walk in.

"Hi honey. How are you feeling?" She asks.

"Good. My head just hurts a little bit." I say.

"Well it will be like that for a couple days. You hit your head pretty hard." She says.

"So I've heard." I say. My mom and Austin laugh.

"You are able to leave whenever you please." My mom says.

"Good because I hate the hospital." I say. Austin laughs.

"Well all you need to do is get changed." My mom says. She reaches into her purse, and hands me a a pair of sweats, a t-shirt, and some underwear.

"Okay I'm going to the bathroom." I say. I stand up slowly, Austin walks to my side, and helps me walk.

"Careful." He says.

"I don't need help." I say laughing.

"Well to me you do. I don't want my princess getting hurt again." He says. I blush, and then get into the bathroom.

I change my clothes and then walk out of the bathroom, and see my mom is ready to go.

"Let's go." I say. Austin walks over to me and grabs my hand. I put my head on his shoulder, and he kisses my forehead.

"I love you." He whispers into my ear.

"I love you too." I say.
