MINE (Todoroki X Reader)| ✔️

Friendzoned.

The matches are almost done.

Todoroki, uraraka, Izuku and I are done with our matches, we are sitting on those benches waiting for the rest.

Todoroki won against Jirou.
Uraraka lost against Momo.
Izuku lost against Tokoyami.

And I won against Denki; he's still pretty much his 'stupid self'.

I'm still very much anxious about what Denki said.

"I just thought we trusted each other more than that."

I just can't help my leg from its continuous tapping on the floor, as I wait for Denki to stop being his 'stupid self' so that he can talk to Todoroki, hoping it's about why he said such things. Why he's upset

I feel so nervous, my heart is racing so fast.

Suddenly I feel a hot hand on my right leg.

I look to my side and see Todoroki's beautiful heterochromatic eyes looking into my own (E/C) eyes.

They looked so stern, so reassuring- his gentle yet firm grip on my leg was enough to calm me down.

"It's will be alright." He said, calmly.

He knows, Todoroki knows how much Denki means to me; he knows that I genuinely care for him and that we've been friends even before going to UA.

I feel so happy.

I put my right hand on his left one that was placed on my leg.

He flipped his hand over to the other side, intertwining our fingers together.

"Yeah..it will," I said softly, as my heart raced for a completely different reason now.

Denki is finally back, I tried talking to him but he gave me a sad smile and waved his hand as if saying 'I can't right now."

Maybe he needs time? I mean he did just lose..I'm not bragging about it, though! I thought he wanted to have a good match. I just don't get it. Ever since the beach day- ever since then he's been weird.

He told Todoroki to talk to him after school ended, as he took more time become his usual self than he had expected.

And now here I am, waiting on some bench outside of UA for Todoroki to come and tell me what's happening.

He's taking so long.

[TODOROKI'S POV]

I've waited long enough, Denki is not showing up.

It's probably best if I leave, and talk to him tomorrow. When he's actually there.

I started walking the other direction, when I remembered (Y/N)'s upset and anxious face over Denki ignoring her.

She needs answers. I need to talk to him. She's depending on me.

It's annoying to see him be so cold to her and not be able to do anything about it.

This is the least I can do for her; a couple more minutes should be fine.
