Chapter 17

"Isn't it too early to sigh that heavily?"
Came the voice loud and soothing.

"Jungkook!?"
Lisa spun around towards the direction of the voice and ended up meeting the doe eyes of her best friend.

"Hey princess"
The boy greeted happily as he took few steps towards her.

"Missed me?"
He questioned with a broad smile, staring down at the confused girl.

Lisa remained quiet, staring back at the boy. It felt surreal for her, now that he's suddenly back from his short exile. She even wondered whether it was some kind of sick dream, but that was until Jungkook decided to snap her out by shaking her shoulders.

"You there?"
He questioned, inching closer observing the girl.

"Fuck you Jeon Jungkook!"
She spat fire, a sudden rush of anger taking over.

"I fucking hate you for leaving me alone all these days!"
She added, shooting daggers at the grinning boy.

Lisa poured out all the locked up frustration and scolded the boy mercilessly. But Jungkook was only smiling ear to ear all along, he missed her so much that even the cuss words she spat sounded so sweet in his ears.

"I fucking hate you!"
She breathed out, ending her scolding session.

"I know you don't mean any of it, should if feel hurt baby?"
Jungkook teased wiggling his eyebrows.

"I hate you more now Jungkook!"
Lisa yelled on his face before walking away, puffing out her cheeks.

"Hey wait!"
Jungkook catched up with the girl, walking by her side.

"I'm sorry"
He apologized, looking at her. Lisa returned the stare with a small smile.

"Don't be... It's just me... I had so many things bottled up and had to get it out on you... I'm sorry for that"
She replied, letting out a sigh.

"I understand"
He smiled assuringly at her.

"Did you meet Jimin? He was asking about you as well"
Lisa questioned taking a seat at a bench, laid along the sidewalk.

"Jimin?"
Jungkook questioned back, taking a small ride down his memory lame.

"Hyung just spill everything already!"
Jungkook whined making the latter chuckle at his impatience.

"She seems pretty fine Kook... She's doing good I guess?"
Jimin replied, unsure.

"I guess? Are you kidding me? Hyung! I want to know how exactly she is! I didn't send you there to receive unconfident replies!"
The boy whined again.

"She looks happy but... I can barely recognise her... She seems distant and unreadable... It's no close to the Lisa I know..."
Jimin gave a deep thought about his statement.

"You should probably get back to her Jungkook-ah... I can tell that something is bothering her, badly"
He added, making the maknae more confused about his choices.

"Jungkook?"

Lisa snapped him out his daydream.

"Yeh! Here"
He replied, smiling shortly.

"So did you catch up with him?"
She questioned again.
