Word spread about Isa around the school like a forest fire. Word spread that she was 'more fun' than Harry and much more outgoing. Isa didn't know how it happened, but just like in camp, she became well respected in Hogwarts which was quite difficult considering she was only in her first year. It first started with the Potions incident and now it was the whole Lockhart thing.

But aside from that, Isa never thought she'd say it, but school was fun. Out of everyone in Hufflepuff, Isa was closest to Nolan. The girls kind of did their own thing⎼not that Isa minded⎼but they'd involve and invite her with what they would do, like go to the library and study. The boys on the other hand were close to Nolan, just not as close as he was with Isa. There were even rumors already going around about her and Nolan 'dating'. Isa found it annoying.

Isa absolutely hated it when rumors and false information about her were spread. It must be a trait she received from her dad since Percy feels the same way. They can't handle it when things like that happen.

A couple of days later an announcement was posted up in the Hufflepuff common room.

"We have to learn how to fly?" Isa shrieked once she was able to decipher the words.

"Fly on a broom, you nitwit," Nolan teased, flicking her on the forehead.

"Ow," she grumbled, rubbing her forehead. "But that's the same thing. You know what? I'm not going to those lessons. Nope!"

"You have to," Nolan forced.

"Fine, I'll go." Isa caved in. "But! I'm not going on a broom. I'll just sit and appreciate the floor."

Nolan's eyes widened with realization as a smirk tugged on his lips. "Are you⎼are you scared of heights?"

"No!" Isa rejected it immediately. "I'm not scared of heights. I'm scared of what will happen when I'm up there."

"You're going to fail, and you won't be able to come back next year."

Isa grumbled as she plopped down on the couch beside a fourth-year boy. "I'll talk to Dumbledore then. I'm sure Dumbletweeb will allow me to not take those classes."

Isa heard a snort come from the fourth year boy, so she looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"I'm Cedric Diggory," he said, putting his hand out to shake.

"Isa Potter," Isa said, politely shaking his hand back. "And no! Tell me why do I have to fly?"

"For the love of Merlin, Isa. You're flying on a broom. And you need to learn for you to play Quidditch and as a means of transportation."

"Transportation?" Isa scoffed. "Don't you guys have those thingies called keyports?"

"Portkeys," Cedric corrected her. "And you need to have those issued by the Ministry. Don't worry, flying is fun once you get the hang of it."

Isa huffed in frustration as she pouted like a child with her arms crossed. Nothing was going to convince her.

"Tell me why I agreed to this again?" Isa asked Nolan on their way to their flying lessons.

"Because I promised to give you my Cauldron Cakes that mum sent," Nolan told her as he was dragging the girl by the hand.

Isa narrowed his eyes at him. "You better."

It was a clear, breezy day, and the grass rippled under their feet as they marched down the sloping lawns toward a smooth, flat lawn on the opposite side of the grounds to the forbidden forest, whose trees were swaying darkly in the distance.
