A little something something cuz why not?
Jonathan POV

"I am an idiot." I fell on to Parker's bed.

"Did something happen last night between you and Alessia?" Parker wiggled his eyebrows at me. It was Saturday, November 1st. I met Parker at his house to take him to our shift.

"No. I'm not that lucky," I groaned thinking about what I had said to Alessia the night before.

"Woah woah. That's a change of tune. What do you admit you like her now?" He joked. When I didn't respond his mouth fell. "Dude. You actually do."

"Isn't that what you've been telling me for months?" Nonstop.

"I was joking, but wow. When did you realize?" He sat at his desk, waiting for story time.

"Last night."

"That's all. I need details, come on."

"Fine fine. I guess it was last night at the park. When we um, tripped-"

"And you were on top of her?" He laughed.

"Not like that dude, gross," I shoved him. "No. I just, I looked at her and into her eyes and it just clicked."

"You are so sappy."

"Shut up you wanted a story."

"Whatever. I don't understand how this makes you an idiot. Except that it took you this long to realize."

"Right well. After you and Kayla left, Damian and Becca showed up. Her ex and the girl he cheated on Alessia with," I explained. "He was being an ass per usual and she froze a little. When she snapped out of it she grabbed my hand, taking me to the car. Dude I got to flustered it was embarrassing. I couldn't even say a word on the way home. And when I did, oh gosh."

"What did you say?"

"I said she looked nice and that she always does."

"I don't see the problem," Parker stared at me.

"Well besides the fact I was bright red and almost stuttered it out, she totally dismissed it. Said whatever, gave me a push, and walked into her house."

"Shit dude. That's rough," he laughed.

"Tell me about it."

"I'm guessing you don't want to know what happened with me and Kayla then?" I had totally forgotten about that. What a friend I was.

"Nah dude, it's good. What happened?"

"I might now have a girlfriend."

"Dude that's great. So you finally asked her after what three years?"

"Not exactly. I was completely awkward in the car and so when she pulled into my driveway, I started to get out. Kayla grabbed my shirt, kissed me, and said 'Are you gonna ask me out yet or what?'"

"Seriously? Did not expect that from her." Kayla was the most quiet girl I knew. Bold wasn't the word that came to mind to describe her.

"Her and Alessia are friends for a reason." I couldn't help but smile at that.

Those girls were gonna be the death of us.
