Chapter 56 - Exposure

- What is going on here? - repeated Omer and entered the room.

His eyes were throwing lightning. He looked from one to the other of the bedlam participants until he settled on Laila. She pulled her hair out of Koray's fist and whispered pitifully:

Angry Koray threw up his hands and ran around the room. Laura followed him with her eyes and answered:

The girl grimaced and sobbed. Wiping away her tears, she began to make excuses:
