2/4 CHRISTMAS MARATHON

-------

"Where the hell are you, Tsukki?" Yamaguchi grumbled to himself, glancing at the empty bed next to him. He'd said he'd be back ten minutes ago. Where the hell could he have gone? Mikaela was in the common room- she would've seen him, right?

Unless...

Yamaguchi whipped out his phone, ready to send a quick text to Mikaela asking if she knew where Tsukishima was, when his phone buzzed in his hands. Speak of the devil.

Tsukishima Kei (23:16): Won't be coming back.

No fricking way.

Yamaguchi grinned to himself as he started putting the clues together, typing out a quick text for his best friend.

Yamaguchi Tadashi (23:17): All good?

Yamaguchi Tadashi (23:17): With anyone?

Tsukishima Kei (23:17): Her.

"Hell yeah!" Yamaguchi yelled out loud, punching his fist in the air. Oh, he was with someone, all right- Kaisha. They'd made up, and were probably having some sort of weird heart-to-heart right now. There was no other explanation- they both still loved each other but didn't want to say it, like total dumbasses, and although Tsukishima never explicitly said they'd made up, he was staying with her for the night. For. The. Night.

Yamaguchi sighed happily. "About time," he said to himself, grinning at his phone. "About time."

-------

Yamaguchi Tadashi (23:18): !

Yamaguchi Tadashi (23:18): About time!

Mikaela Kaisha (23:19): :)

Mikaela Kaisha (23:19): Thank you for never giving up on us

Yamaguchi Tadashi (23:19): Never have, never will. I love you guys! :D

Mikaela Kaisha (23:20): Love you too!

-------

Mikaela's alarm went off in the morning, and she lunged for it, ready to throw it at the wall. Something around her waist pulled her back, and she nearly cried out in surprise. She glanced behind her and sighed.

Tsukishima. She was worried it might've been a dream.

She stretched out her arm and grabbed her phone, shutting off the alarm. Then, she twisted in the bed to face the blond and gently kissed him on the forehead. "Tsukishima, I need to get up."

"You can wait," he mumbled, tightening his grip on her waist.

Mikaela sighed. "I'm the captain, Tsukishima."

His arm curled further around her waist, his fingers dancing lightly on her stomach. "Whose fault was that?" the middle blocker said tiredly, yawning. "Dumbass."

"Oh, come on... Kei," she tried, hoping that wasn't too much.

Tsukishima's eyes fluttered open, and butterflies erupted in her stomach. "I missed that," he said quietly, pulling her towards him. He kissed her the back of her neck lightly, then pulled back. "Kaisha."

Mikaela sighed happily and was about to say something when there was a loud knock on her door that made both her and Tsukishima flinch in surprise. "Captain!" someone called, and Mikaela groaned when she realized it was Somi. "Captain? You'd better be awake! I have your prosthetic! If you want it back!"
