At night Roshini, Aakash, Ajay, Geet and Kailash leave for Madurai by road, it was an 8 hour ride, Ajay and Kailash take turns to drive. They reach Madurai early in the morning, they drop their luggages in their rooms in Sunshine Hotel, freshen up and leave for Meenakshi Amman temple. Everyone has to wait in long lines to enter into the temple and no electronic devices can be taken in. Meenakshi Amman temple is one of the most famous temple dedicated to Sundareshwarar (a form of Lord Shiva) and Meenakshi (a form of Goddess Parvati), they visit the shrines of both the deities, it almost takes them half a day to complete their visit to the temple. Once they come out of the temple, Geet and Roshini go to stalls outside the temple while the men keep following them.

They buy bangles for everyone and leave from there to their car, while on the way Kailash notices a shop selling 'Jigarthanda', a cold beverage, it's almost similar to falooda and it's most famous in Madurai "Hey Jigarthanda is there let's go", Ajay looks at the shop "Umm guys you sure you want to have it here...doesn't look hygienic", Aakash smiles "You should have this type of food only in road side shops...then only it's tasty", Kailash "And moreover Anna...if you come to Madurai and not have Jigarthanda then seriously the visit is a waste", Ajay was still not convinced "But dad... Kailash...", Geet looks at him "Mr.OCD king you know what you stay here we will have and come...come Maa, dad and Kailash...let him be here". They all go to the shop and Ajay also with no other choice follows them into the shop, Geet orders only 4 Jigarthanda, Kailash asks her "Geet we are 5", Geet looks at Ajay "Someone doesn't want right then why order for them", Ajay shakes his head and smiles, I know how to eat that too from you Geethuuuu, soon the shopkeeper serves them the Jigarthanda.

Ajay was about to take the spoon from Geet's glass but she snatches it before even he could touch it. They all take the glasses and leave from there, Geet starts drinking once they get into the car. The driver starts the car, Kailash was sitting in the passanger seat next to the driver, Aakash and Roshini were sitting behind them and Geet and Ajay were sitting behind Aakash and Roshini. Geet was savoring her Jigarthanda, again Ajay tries taking it from her but she moves away from him and takes her glass also away from him, she whispers to him "It didn't seem hygienic right...now why do you want it", he looks at her "Since you are drinking I can also drink", she rolls her eyes "Then you should have got your own". He looks at her smirking "when I have my own why do I need another", she looks at him confused but shakes her head and continues digging into her beverage when his hand snakes around her waist pulling her closer, she looks at him shocked and the spoon in her hand which she was taking closer to her lips was about to fall down on the floor of the car before which he catches it. She glares at him to which he only smiles at her and starts drinking from her glass and before she could snatch the spoon he quickly hides it behind him, she puts the drink on the stand and tries to get the spoon from him "You cheater...you took the spoon from me by cheating...give it back...go get your own one", he smiles holding her waist "Wife...you know I love irritating you...and you know they right jhootha khaane se pyaar badtha hai (Sharing food increases love)...and it's tastes even more sweeter wife drinking this after you", his breathe was fanning on her lips as he spoke, that's when she realises that in the process of getting the spoon from him how close she had gotten to him, she sits down back at her place feeling completely flushed, their parents were sitting right in front of them and here she was fighting like a kid with him while he was shamelessly flirting with her. He smiles at her flushed face and whispers to her huskily "You look like a strawberry Mrs.Ajay...just the ones that I love to eat...don't tempt me while we are visiting temples", she was all the more flushed and looks out of the window trying to hide her face from him. He hands over the spoon back to her, this time she voluntarily shares it with him.
They stop for lunch and set out visit Shri Koodal Azhagar Temple ('Koodal' is another name for Madurai, 'Azhagar' means beautiful), it is a temple dedicated to Koodal Azhagar, a form of Lord Vishnu. The main shrine has the Images of the deity in three forms, sitting, standing and reclining. Along with Lord Vishnu there is also a shrine dedicated to his wife, Madhuravalli Thayar, a form Godess Lakshmi. It was almost 6 in evening by the time they completed visiting the temples, and being tired of their long travel they decided to retire to the hotel for the day. Later in the night they all were sitting in Aakash and Roshini's room waiting for dinner as they had ordered for room service, Ajay "What's the plan for tomorrow Kailash", Kailash looks at his parents but they shake their heads indicating 'No' to him but Ajay and Geet did not notice this exchange between them "Tomorrow we are going to Dhanuskodi", Geet smiles "Wow yaar...I have always wanted to visit that place...I have heard from my friends that even with just the ruins the place looks beautiful", Aakash smiles "Yeah it's a beautiful place ma...the sea on its either side...you know you can also see the difference there between bay of Bengal and Indian ocean", Ajay smiles "Yeah when Myself and Vish came here for the construction of the Hotel we did visit Dhanuskodi on Vish's insistence...it's beautiful and serene...the serenity in that place is what I love about it...the most I loved is the ruins of the cathedral there...and also you know what happened when we visited Vish was jumping around like a monkey because she got Sri Lankan mobile network from there...I'm happy we are visiting again", Kailash mutters to himself "So Sad that you guys won't be visiting the place with us", Roshini who was sitting next to him hears him, shakes her head chuckling and indicates him to be quiet. Soon their dinner arrives, they complete their dinner and retire back to their rooms.

(This is Dhanushkodi, it was destroyed completely in 1964 cyclone and only the ruins are left behind, it's the south eastern tip of Tamil Nadu. One side runs the Bay of Bengal and the other side runs the Indian ocean)
The next day, everyone gets ready and start their journey, they have their breakfast and start towards Dhanushkodi but soon their SUV comes to a stop at the airport, Ajay and Geet look at eachother confused, Ajay "Why did we stop at the airport...any problem with the car", Roshini "No no problem with the car...you both are getting down here", Ajay and Geet look at Roshini confused "Why Maa", Aakash "You both are going to Munnar for your honeymoon", they both were shocked. Kailash "Why are looking shocked it's almost 2 months into your marriage you both didn't go anywhere alone...and with all the happenings in the recent times we thought this is a great idea...so everything is arranged you guys board a flight here and land in Kochi...from there the driver will pick you up and drop you in the resort in Munnar", Ajay "But...Dhanushkodi...", Aakash "We are going there and you both are going for your honeymoon", Geet looks at them still in shock "But...but we didn't pack any clothes", Roshini winks "You don't have worry about that everything was packed and loaded in our car...now all doubts cleared...run along". They both get down of the car, Kailash unloads their luggage, Roshini "Bye Children...I need another Grandchild soon and Rohan would also need a brother or sister to play with", Geet and Ajay turn completely red at the mention of kids. Roshini, Aakash and Kailash chuckle seeing them blush, Aakash "Enjoy children...we have booked the suite for a week...if you want to extend...(he winks at them)...then just let us know", not able to take anymore of their teasing they both just say 'Bye' to them and enter the airport.
