A week had passed since the incident and the entire Gifted class XVI have been confined in the medical ward. The director along with Mr. Pom were using their potentials to manipulate the parents and staff into believing that the students were all fine and were well taken care of.

A week had passed and we still had no idea who the culprit was. It was Friday, casual Friday, and classes and activities for Gifted students were suspended because of the hospitalizations of so many Gifted students.

We all sat around in the meeting room, trying to figure out what to do.

"Quarantining the students, erasing the staff's memories, using his potential to shut up the parents.. Are we really okay with what the teachers are doing?" Mon angrily asked as she tidied up her gym bag.

"This is the best way to contain the damage. If someone finds out, things will get worse." Pang reasoned.

"Does this mean we are on the Director's side?" Mon asked and Pang shook his head.

"No, we are not. This has nothing to do with our conflict with him. We just need to let him work through this." Pang explained.

"That's actually good. If we had to involve ourselves in that situation, it would be stressful as hell. Cool, let's not get involved." Ohm added, looking at all of us.

"You are wrong about this." Wave chimed in and we all looked over to where he was sitting, in front of his computer.

"We can't stay out of it. Take a look." Wave continued, turning his chair to face us and gesturing to the small tv hooked up to Ms. Darin's computer. A video played and it showed Ms. Darin's office.

"Although Ms. Darin's office doesn't have a school CCTV camera, it has a personal camera she installed herself. It's been told to record a file on this computer." Wave explained.

"So? We already know the Anti-Gifted stole the virus." Claire pressed.

"Take a closer look." Wave said and we all looked at the clip again. I gasped. Whoever stole from Ms. Darin's office didn't break in because the door was open.

"He didn't break in. He opened the door." Mon pointed out and my brows furrowed in confusion.

"How is that possible? This was taken the night we were on a mission. Wave reset the passwords of every door in the school." I retorted. No one was able to get in or out without Wave's password. It was basically foolproof.

"That means..." Ohm started as Wave stood up.

"The thief used our password to get into Ms. Darin's office, which means one of us is behind all this." Wave concluded.

"The question is who." Wave spat, glaring behind his glasses and we all looked at each other fearfully. Who would do such a thing? How can it be one of us?

"One of us is the culprit. And I need to know who." Wave demanded.

"I think you should calm down." Punn advised and I lightly held onto Wave's arm, rubbing my hand. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

"That's right. We've been fighting together for years. There's no reason for any of us to do this." Ohm pointed out.

"The evidence is clear. It's pointless to argue whether this is true. I want to know who did it. Just confess!" Wave yelled.

"Enough, Wave!" Pang yelled and we all turned to look at him as he stood up and looked at Wave.

"I think you're wrong." He spat before walking away and Wave followed him. Punn and I stood up to follow them. We walked faster because I could hear Wave yelling. We stopped a few steps away from them, listening to the conversation from afar.
