Minji, after hearing Jeongin's honest life story, wasn't expecting that his life before was more or less reflected the same way as hers but equally different in terms of many perspective. And the fact that Minji had once or twice thought to herself that Jeongin's probably have it all easy throughout his life and everything had been given to him on a silver plate so she regretted it now more than anything else.

"I didn't know that your childhood was like that... I'm sorry to presume that considering your umm, your status and probably you coming from a wealthy background would make your life a better one compare to a normal person would have..." Minji had her eyes staring at her cup of coffee with her tone edged with apologetic tone.

"No you don't have to apologize. I mean you're not the only one, I think every people that I met before would also thought the same thing..." Jeongin's tone remained calm but his mind couldn't stop replaying those unwanted memories of his past. "...the only difference is that, I don't actually go around and tell people about this story of mine. I just kind of packed them tightly inside me."

"But you told me..." Minji then raised her head and her eyes met with his in a rather confused look on them. "...why exactly? Am I not the same as everyone to you?" She asked and he calmly took another sip. "Don't get me wrong, you were the same..." His answer unknowingly gave this slight hint of disappointment in Minji's heart without her knowing. "...but it all changed after we exchanged our stories back in the elevator that day."

"Kim Minji..." The way he called out Minji's name with such classy yet gentle way made  the corner of her lips curved up slightly. "...I have to be honest. I envied you as much as I am interested in you and your life story."

"Why is that?" She asked calmly. "When I sat next to you that day, hearing your story about your home village and the way you're explaining the exciting things that you and your families were doing back in the village... I couldn't help but imagining myself in those situations." He answered her honestly as shown with his eye contacts with her.

"I never went fishing, I never even seen goats, cows or even chickens up close let alone feeding them with love and care... I certainly never been on a tractor nor a pickup truck..." Jeongin couldn't help but chuckling to himself. "...I certainly never eaten foods that's being cooked with firewood under the moonlight like you told me..."

"What I'm trying to say is... you're different from the others Minji. Most the people I met and talked to, the only thing that came out from their mouths were them boasting about their businesses and that, all they're talking about was money, money and more money to the point where I'm literally sick of hearing and talking about them. There's nothing changed but then you showed up and I immediately became interested." He finished his point calmly.

"So you're interested in my life stories is what you're trying to say?" Minji raised her eyesbrows. "And you in general." His smile was soft yet took Minji by surprise as she instantly looked at her coffee cup and she could feel her heartbeat's rising slowly.
