Sophomore year so far has been decent. It's weird being in school without Ace. It's been about a month since school started so I'm getting use to it.

The bell ringing overhead signal the end of the class. I quickly stuff my books in my book bag before throwing it over my shoulder. I glance at my phone in my hand quickly responding to Ace text about him being late.

"Aiden", I hear my name being called.

My neck almost broke from how fast I twist it to look back. I wasn't surprise when I saw Rain.

"Yep that's me", I sing imitating raven voice. (That's so raven use to be my show)

"Hey I was wondering if you wanted to grab a bite at the cafe nearby", Rain said.

I usually never go to lunch since it's my last period and Ace always shows up with food.

"Um... sure why not", I said rubbing my arm. Ace is running late anyway I'll just text him to pick me up from the cafe.

"Yes!", Rain yell throwing his fist in the air.

"Settled down boy", I said smiling softly.

Rain is my only friend at this school. I meet him during the end of freshmen year. We didn't really hang out much since I too busy with Ace. I guess now that Ace no longer here Rain has been around more often.

We walked silently to the cafe nearby. The sun was hot and the cold breeze blowing by, was refreshing. I smile to myself hugging my body. From the corner of my eyes I peep Rain sneaking looks at me.

"Yes?", I question his weird behavior.

"Nothing, you just look beautiful that's all", he said rubbing the back of his head.

"Thanks", I said feeling awkward.

"Sorry", he said blushing.

"It's okay, I just feel wired when someone besides my boyfriend compliments me", I said making sure he gets the message.

He stay quiet after that.

We reach the cafe and I order a chocolate muffin with a tall size chocolate. Rain order some breakfast wrap with coffee. After he pay for both of our meal, even tho I told him not too, we sat down at a table.

"So how have you been, you and Ace still Bestfriend's", I didn't like the way he said Ace name.

"No and yes", I said taking a sip of my drink.

"What do you mean", he asked, a frown on his face.

"He's my boyfriend", I said trying to catch his reaction.

It's obvious that Rain has a crush on me. We barely talk but since school start this year he been all over me.

"Isn't he like 19 now that's illegal, he sounds like a pedo to me", he said biting into his wrap.

"He's 18 and it's non of your fucking business", I said getting angry. Fuck him, he don't know shit.

"Wait I'm sorry that came out wrong, I'm just making sure your okay", he said standing up with me.

"thanks for your. Concern, but I'm fine, You don't need to worry about me", I said putting my book bag on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry again, that was a asshole thing to say", he plead literally getting on his knees.

"Get up stupid, I forgive you. But if you ever say anything bad about Ace again, I'll slit your fucking throat", I said. I watch as his eyes widen.

He nod his head throwing our trash away.

"We should probably get back to class", Rain said.

"I'm done for the day, I'm just going to wait here for Ace", I said walking with him outside.

"Oh okay, we should do this again. And I promise I won't say anything bad about Ace", he said putting his hand in defense mode.

"Okay...you should probably go before your late", I said bitting my nails.

"Yeah see yah", he said staring at me.

"You can hug me I won't bite", I said rolling my eyes.

He let out a sign or relief before hugging me.

Once he leaves two minutes later Ace pulls up by the cafe.

"Hey bae", I said buckling my seat beat.

"Hello love", Ace said kissing my cheek.

"How was school sweetie", I ask Alex.

"It was fun daddy, we color and learn to count 10s", he said excitedly.

"Oh wow!", I said genuinely happy.

"Show Daddy your numbers Alex", Aiden said. He sound like a proud parent. The thought made me smile.

"Okay. 10, 20, 30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100!", Alex count, clapping his hand at the end.

"Good job shorty. Pretty soon your going to be smarter than me", I said making him giggle.

"I already smarter than you", he said. Making me and Ace burst into laughter.

"What do you want for dinner today", I asked Alex.

"Makacheese!!, Alex chant.

"Mac and cheese", Ace chant along with Alex.

"Okay, mac and cheese it is". I said.

"Yeah!", they both yell.

Guess what we eat that night.

I love my life.
