Dont Cause Her Pain

When the bell rang , I went to my next class which was French. 
I don't like French because it is so hard to try and figure out what the people were  saying. 
When French was done , I was going to lunch when someone walked with me.

I saw it was Alex . I tried to walk away but he pulled me back .
"Please don't go ".
"Too bad ". I said and tried again and he pulled me back .
"Stop trying to avoid me ".
"Nope ".
"Bethy , how many times do I have to say sorry ".

I stopped at when he finished his sentence. 
"Frist of all I said DONT call me that name.  Your not anything to me so don't call me that.  And second of all I don't care how many times you say sorry , I still don't forgive you for what you did ". I said and walked away. 

When I reached my lunch table , I sat down in frustration .
"What happened to you ?". Cathy asked.
"Its Alex ".
"What's wrong with this Alex guy . Is he in love with you or what ? Why can't he just let you go ?".

"I don't know ".
I ate my lunch and then went to my next class which was Music .
I love Music so much because I get to know the history of different types of music. 
When Music was done I went to my next class which was History .

Alex didn't show up for History . When the bell rang , it was the end of a school day. 
I went to my locker to put away my books with my friends when Charlie came to my locker .
"Bye ". Both Cathy and Ally said. 

"Hey ".
"Hey ".
"Ready ?". He asked .
"Yeah ".
We went to my car and drove to a fast food restaurant. 
When we got there we ordered our food and Charlie paid for it even though I offered to pay my half. 

When we got our food Charlie kept looking at me . The first time I asked him what's wrong and he said nothing .
He was looking at me again and I said "What ?".
"Why didn't you tell me you liked me before ?". He said deciding to tell me now .
"I don't know ". I said in a very shy way .

He just looked at me and that made me to blush a little bit .
He made me blush and smile a lot of times . I went home after we finished eating. 
When I got home , I was pulled it someone .

"Where were you ?".
"None of your business ". I said and I  got out his grip. 
"Where were you ?". He asked again but this time pulled me back to the door making my back hit the door and blocked my way. 
"You don't need to know ".

"Tell me ".
"Alex , leave me alone ".
"You went with  Charlie ".
"So what ". I said .
He said nothing and just walked to his room and slammed the door.

I don't care . Let him be jealous .

***The Next Day ****
We didn't have school for this week so we had to stay home .
I woke up and went downstairs to make breakfast .
When I reached downstairs , Alex was eating breakfast. 

"Morning ". He said .
I didn't feel like fighting so I said "Morning ".
"At least I had the decency to make you breakfast ".
"Thanks ".
He made my favorite that I loved when we were kids and still now .

After I finished eating , I said "Thanks for making my favorite ".
He  just nodded because he was busy with something on his phone .
I went upstairs and did my morning stuff .

I did my homework that was due for next week. 
When I was done with that , I got a little bored so I invited Cathy and Ally over. 
I went downstairs after awhile and went to the living room to see if they were there .

They were there but also with Alex .
"Beth , this is Alex ? ". Cathy questioned . And Alex turned around .
"Yeah ". I said
"Okay ". She said to me .
And then we went up to Alex and said "If you cause Beth anymore trouble or pain , you have to deal with me ".

Alex didn't say anything and then we all went upstairs. 
"Wow Cathy ". I said. 
"What ? Its just a TRUE best friend looking out for you ". She said shouting the word true enough for everyone to hear.

Me and Ally just both laughed .
