Losing My Best Friend ?

**Alex**

"Mom , he is not my boyfriend,"Ally said feeling embarrassed .
"Sorry ," Her mother said.
"Ready to go girls ?" Ally and Cathy's dad's asked .
"Yeah ," Ally and Cathy said at the same time .
"Lets go ," Cathy 's dad said . 
Everyone went outside expect for Evan .

**Evan **
Everyone went outside and Ally was the last one to go by the door to go outside with the rest .
I took a piece of the cake and it tasted amazing .
I said "Ally , wait ".
She stopped and turned to face me .
"Yeah". She said.
I tried not to get lost into her blue sparkling eyes that shone like a star so bright .

"I really like your cake ,"I said .
"When did you ..
She said trailing off her sentence . 
"I did it when you went to the door ". I said .
"Ohh ," She said. 
I have never been so nervous as to talking to girls. 
"I wanted to ask if you like to hangout with me sometime ". I said.

I saw that she was blushing really hard when she said , "I would love to".
"And also you look really cute when you blush , " I said .
She hid her cheeks when I said that and her dad came by the door and said "Ally , lets go ".

"Sorry dad . Bye Evan ,"She said following her dad to the car .
"Bye Ally ".
I went back to Alex 's room and waited for the rest to come back .
When they came in , they asked "Why was Ally blushing really hard ?".

"Because I asked her to hangout with me and I also told her she looked cute when she blushes ".
"Good. Now when are you going to hangout with her ?" Harry asked. 
"I don't know ," I said.
"Call her and ask to hangout tomorrow ,". Harry suggested. 
"I-
I got cut off by Alex saying "Here's her number ".

"Thanks dude ". I said .

**Beth**

Ally and Cathy left and I went back into the house and I made my way  back upstairs . Once I reached in room , I took a nap. 
"Your really cute when you sleep ," Someone said .
I couldn't be dreaming because I  wasn't sleeping anymore but my eyes were still open .

The voice was Alex . He started to stroke my hair and it felt comforting .
" You are my favorite thing that I am craving ," He said .
I didn't bother to get up and ask for an explanation as to why he is was doing that .
Instead , I slept off .
I woke up again and it was dark outside.
I got up and walked downstairs to see Alex eating dinner.

"You're awake ," He said with a smile on his face. 
I smiled back and sat down next to him and said ,"Yeah " .
"Do you want to eat ?" Alex asked .
"Yes please ," I said. He got up from his chair and put a plate full of food for me .
He set it in front of me and said , "Thanks " and I started eating because I was really hungry .

When I was done , Alex washed my plate for me and we went to the living room and I watched tv while Alex texted on his phone .
The house phone rang and I grabbed it from the coffee table .
I answered it and said ,  "Hi mom ".
"Hi sweetie , ". She said "Just checking up on you two ".

"We are fine ,"  I said.
"Okay ," She said " Also , did a lady call the house when I wasn't here ?" .
"Yeah . I am sorry I forgot to tell you ,". I said.
"Its okay . Well goodnight ,"My mother  said .
"Night ," I said and ended the call .
I put the phone back on the table and continued to watch tv. 

When I was tried , I got up and said "Goodnight Alex ".
"Night Beth ," He said and I walked up to my room and slept off.

*** 1 week later ***

*Beth*

Monday mornings was the worst for me . I always hated Mondays . Why can't we have Mondays off as well .
"Come Beth , lets go ," Alex said shouting at me from the bottom of the staircase .
I ran down the steps and said "I am ready ," to Alex .
He grabbed his bag and keys and I said "Bye mom and dad ," to my parents while Alex 's mom kissed Alex 's check goodbye. 

We got into his car and drove to school .
Ever since I regretted Alex , he has been kind of distant lately .
He would never tell me his problems or how his day really went or if he needed help with something .   
It was like as we were not best friends anymore. 

He doesn't come to my room and whisper me sweet things anymore when I am asleep.
It made me sad to think that I am losing my best friend .
