The Promise

I'm Sorry

**Beth**

"Hey ," I said awkwardly to them .
"Beth , I am so sorry that you had to see that . I didn't me-
"Its okay Ally ," I said and then asked ," Is this the big secret that you didn't want to tell me ?" .
Jake nodded and I said ," Well , I have something to tell all of you and I mainly don't you to hate me Jake " .
"What is it ?" Jake asked . 

"Alex and I slept together on the cruise ," I said feeling really nervous. 
"Ohh ," He said not showing the slight of disappointment on his face .
"I am so sorry ," I said .
"Its okay . I mean ,  we are even right . I cheated on you . You cheated on me . I am sorry too ," Jake said .
"So were good ?" I asked Jake .
"Yeah ," He said. 

"What about you two ? " I asked Cathy and Ally .
"I am so sorry that about us . We're cool ," Ally said .
"We're cool ," Cathy asked .
"Great but what ever happened to Evan ?" I asked Ally .
"He dumped me ," Ally said. 
"Ohh okay . Wanna bake ?" I asked .
"That sounds like a great idea ," Cathy said and we all got up and went to the kitchen to bake .

When we were done baking , we ate the cookies that we made and then we watched television. 
I noticed that Jake and Ally were a good fit for each other. 
We then made a bon fire because it was nighttime by the time we were done watching tv .
We got some marshmallows and put it at the  end of a stick and put them in the fire .

When we were done , I then decided to go home. 
When I got there , Alex was in the living room playing with his PlayStation 4 talking to his friends on his headphones .
"Hey Beth ," He said as he took out the headphones from its jack .
"Hey ," I said .
"You killed me ," He said to one of his friends as he put it back in then took it out.

"How did it go ?"He asked .
Then his game was finished and his attention was fully on me now .
"It went great . I found out something ," I said as I took off my shoes  and laid on Alex 's lap .
"Yes ! We came first ," Alex said then he said ," What did you find out ?" He asked .
"Jake and Ally are together now ," I said .
"Jake and Ally ! " Alex said surprised. 
"Yep ," I said .

"Wow . What ever happened to Evan ?"He asked. 
"He broke up with her ," I said .
"Ohh , that is why Evan was thinking I will be mad at him ," Alex said .
"I didn't know that is what he was talking about ," He said.
"Are you mad ? I asked him .
"Not really since she's not upset ," He said. 

"Okay ," I said then I jumped off of Alex 's lap because his PlayStation 4 remote control vibrated behind my back . 
"Sorry ," He said as clicked accept on the tv .
"I'm gonna go take a shower.  I already ate food so I 'm gonna go to bed after my shower ," I said. 
"Okay , good night " He said as his match began with his friends .

When I was done , I went to bed . Then I felt someone's hand go around my waist .
I then got more comfortable into his chest and he whispered in my ear ," Goodnight my beautiful ".
I smiled and then fell asleep .

Sorry this chapter was short but there are only three or four more chapters left of this book . Its so sad .
