Boyfriend ?

I don't understand why Alex is so mad . 
"Turn down the volume " I said .
He turned it down and then continued to play his game .
I asked him "Why are you so mad ?".
"I did not turn down the volume just to hear you ask me questions ". He said still in a mad voice .

"If you don't want to talk-
I got cut  off  by him saying "I don't want to talk ".
"Just say so " I said continuing my sentence but slowly then I said " Okay " sowly again. 

I went to the kitchen and made dinner for the both of us . When I was done , I put for the both of us and went back into the living room hopefully with Alex in a much better mood .
"Alex , I made dinner for the both of us ".

"Not hungry ". He said not taking his eyes off from the tv. 
"But its your favorite ".
"Not hungry ". He said again .
I felt really hurt that he didn't trust me enough to tell me his problems . I was always the first person he would come to if he had a problem .

I guess not anymore .
I set his plate down on the table and took mine and ate it in the kitchen. 
When I was done , I washed my plate and I stood by the doorway of the living room .
I watched Alex silently playing his game.  

I sighed and went up to my room and I couldn't sleep .
I didn't know what time it was but Alex came inside the room and took a bath and got his clothes and came near me and said "I'm sorry " . And kissed my forehead .

He got into the bed and some minutes later , he fell asleep .
I still don't understand why Alex was so mad .
I later on slept with that wondering in my mind.

***The Next Day ***

When I woke up , Alex was putting on his shirt .
"Morning ". He said .
"Morning ". I said back .
"What time is it ?".
"Its 9am " .
"I slept that long " . I said in shock .
"Yep ".

I just kept looking at him and he noticed and said "What ?".
"I'm just seeing how your mood has changed since yesterday ".
"Beth ". He said as he wanted to come close to me , but I said "No , Alex . Its a new day with a happy mood so forget about the past ".

"Okay " . He said in a slow way understanding what I said .
I got out of bed and did my morning stuff and went downstairs to make breakfast .
Alex was sitting waiting for his breakfast when he asked "Which colour do you think would work ?".

I stepped away from the stove and went to where he was and said " This blue would work good for your room ".
"Thanks ". He said and I went back to the stove .
I really liked the Alex that is happy and positive. 

When breakfast was served he said "Thanks " .
We ate in silence when Ally walked in and said "Morning ".
And then Cathy said "Morning "as well when she walked in .
"Hey guys ".
"Why am I surrounded with more girls ?". He said taking his breakfast into the living room. 

"I heard that " . Me , Cathy and Ally said at the same time. 
"Whatever ". He shouted back .
"Rude ". Ally said coming to the table and sitting down. 
"So , how is living with Alex going ?".
"Not great.  When I came back yesterday , he was really mad and when he came to bed , he came by me and said sorry and kissed my forehead ".

"Awww". Ally and Cathy said at the same time. 
"Guys , he is  right in the living room ".
"So ? ". Ally said. 
"You guys are going to be together ".
"Whatever ". I said and then finished my breakfast.  

I washed my plate and we all went up to my room .
"So , what do you guys what to do ?" . I asked once I sat on the bed.
"Well , Cathy is going to do all the talking ". Ally said. 
"Why ?" . I said asking .
"Because , I - I -I -
Ally interrupted Cathy by saying " Cathy has a boyfriend ".

"Yeah , shout it much more louder than that for everyone to hear ". Alex said coming inside the room and grabbing his phone .
"Whatever . Get out ". Ally said .
"This is my room too ". He said. 
"Can you just please leave ". Cathy said .

"Fine ". He said and left .
"When did you even get a boyfriend ?". I asked .
