Are You Mad ?

We finished with the Math and Cathy said to them "The next subject we are going to do is English ".
They took out there English things and we started the lesson .
In between the lesson , everyone was just asking questions , which is good but they were so much. 

Once we finished with the English lesson , we let them go for lunch. 
I was on my way to the teachers lounge because we had access to it . Alex grabbed me by arm and said "Beth , I am sorry ".
"Its okay Alex . I told you , I'm not mad ".

"Yes you are . I know when you are ".
"No I am not . You are probably reading my emotions wrong ".
"No I am not . I know when your hurt ".
"No you don't cause you forgot ".
"Beth I-
"Look , I have to go . I'm hungry ". I said as I got my arm out of his grip and walked to the teachers lounge .

I ate my lunch in peace and I didn't feel hurt anymore . I thought about it  and I shouldn't feel hurt because I am the one that drove Alex away .
I got up and went back to the assembly hall and the rest of the school was in there. 

Cathy and Ally were on the stage . I went up to the stage and said "They have a few more minutes of lunch ".
"I know but they bullied someone ".
"Who ".
"Fran ".
"Ohh ". I said because I knew who she was. She was a person who would often get bullied .

"I called Mrs. Carson and she said to give everyone detention but to also ask why they did it but no one wants to answer me ".
"Then we will scare them into telling us ".
"Okay ".  Cathy said as we came out of the corner .

"I will ask again.  Why did you do this ?".
They still didn't say anything . Ally pretended  to get off the phone with Mrs . Carson and she whispered the things that Mrs . Carson said in my ear. 
I whispered something back into Ally 's ear .

What we really whispered into each others ears were "Are you ready ?".
"Yep ".
I said " Yeah ".
"Ally just finished talking to Mrs . Carson and she said that if no one talks that she will expel the students that were involved ".

Everyone said to chat about what I just said .
It was like as if they were talking to each other in a group and became quiet at once.  The queen bee spoke and said while standing up  "Fine , we will talk " and sat back down .

Then they started to talk . We made them apologize to Fran  that got bullied and then we had some time to continue the lesson.
Once the bell rang , we let them go. 
I got my things out and went to the front. 

Once I got to the front , Alex ,Cathy and Ally were all waiting for me for all of us to go home.
Cathy asked "Ready ?".
"I am not coming with you guys . I am walking ".
They did not object so I started to walk .

They stopped me and said "Wait , is it because of what Alex said ?". Cathy asked .
"No , its not . I need to get some supplies for tomorrow ". I said
"We will go there together ".  Cathy said. 
"Yeah ". Ally said agreeing with Cathy. 

"Beth , you don't need to avoid me ". Alex said .
"I am not . I just want to walk to get the supplies ".
"Okay ". They said and walked back to Alex 's car.
I started walking and soon got to the store.

Once I reached , I got the supplies I needed and paid for them .
I was walking back home when Alex came in front of me. 
"Beth ". He said out of breath .
"Alex , what are you doing ? Have you been following me ?". I asked. 

"Yeah ". He said after awhile of catching his breath .
"Why have you been following me ?". I asked .
"I wanted to tell you that I am sorry ".
"You couldn't wait till I got home ?". I asked .
"No , you will be mad at me more  ". He said.
"Alex , I am not gonna be mad ".

"Yes you will ". He said. 
"Why would I be mad at you ?". I said .
"Because you were  mad and upset about what I said to you at lunch ". He said .
I didn't say anything . I just started to walk. 
"See your mad at me ".
I still didn't say anything .

"Beth ". He said as he grabbed my arm .
"What do you want Alex ?".
"Tell me your not mad ".
I couldn't believe what he just asked me.
