Dragon time

Chap 4: Dragon time

Nagisa's POV

I stood in front of the dragon in awe, I had never seen something so majestic in my life. The red scales reflected of the crystals in the room and it's golden eyes stared into mine and made me feel as if I was staring into a pile of gold. I smiled at the creature and I looked over at Karma, "Oh my gosh! This is so cool! What's their name?" I asked, he smiled "this is Ash and it's a boy" he explained and I jumped excitedly making him laugh, "you're that excited to meet Ash" he said chuckling, the dragon huffed making Karma chuckled then say something in a strange language to him. My eyes widened as they spoke and he turned to me, "you speak dragon!" I exclaimed. He nodded, "yea I can but it really doesn't matter, they know all the languages so I just use it to say secret things to him" he explained. "Okay then, so he can understands what I am saying" I ask and Karma nodded. "Oh it's different for snakes, they don't know english and that's why they don't ever really seem interested with the things around them." I say with a smile, "so they don't know what I am saying right now?" he asked and I nod, "yeah Dina doesn't understand anything we're saying right now, and that's why I talk to her with our language" I explain. He smirked, "so I could say anything and they wouldn't know what I am saying?" he asked teasingly and I nodded slowly. He laughed "I will remember that" he said with a smirk stuck on his face, Ash took his wing and hit him upside the head and said something what seemed to be very rude to Karma who just laughed and held his head. We laughed for a bit and then Karma broke the silence, "Nagisa, want to go for a ride?" he asked. I stared at him in shock "what? I think I heard you wrong, could you repeat that?" I ask, "Do you want to go on a ride on Ash?" he asked again and I felt my heart stop, "really?" I ask, he nodded "yeah, but only if you want to." I walked over to him and looked him in the eye, "of course I want to!" I squealed, but then stopped myself, "but if it's okay with Ash then yes, I'd love to go on a ride" I said in a more calm matter. Karma laughed, "Ash is actually the one who told me to ask you, so yes it is okay with Ash for you to ride" he said smirking. I smiled "thank you so much!" I said and gave Karma a hug, he tensed at first but gave in and held me. I heard the dragon chuckle and say something to Karma before letting go, and when we pulled away I noticed that there was a small blush dusted onto his cheeks.

"Okay so I'm going to give you a boost" Karma said while bending down. Ash had couched down to our level but being as short as I am I still couldn't reach him. At first Karma couldn't stop laughing about it because he could easily reach the top of the dragon. I puffed out my cheeks as he lifted me onto the dragon, "better?" he asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and looked away, "hey don't be like that" he said getting in front of me on the dragon. I huffed and turned away from him, refusing to even speak to him. He frowned and turned to me, "sorry, I went to far didn't I? I like that you're short though" he said trying to lighten up the mood. I rolled my eyes and smiled at him, "Fine, I can't stay mad at you forever" he nodded, "of course not! Who can stay mad at me?" he said cockily. I smirked, "a lot of people actually, you know Terasaka".

Terasaka has ever since that first day shown that he hates Karma in many ways than one. He is always glaring, saying mean things, trying to fight, and steal from Karma just to get the point he hates him down. I don't know why Terasaka hates Karma so much but Karma seems to return the feelings. Terasaka is the demigod of Adrestia the goddess of revenge or revolt, so it makes sense to why he is so persistent on getting revenge on Karma.

"Oh don't bring him into this" Karma said with an eyeroll, I couldn't help but laugh, "okay I promise, I won't" I say sticking out my pinkie finger. He looked at it confused and I just smiled, "It's a pinkie promise, you shake pinkies in a way to promise and not lie." he shook his head and stuck out his pinkie and then took mine in his. He shook it up and down then I looked at him and said, "I pinkie promise that while we are hanging out today I will not bring up Terasaka" and with that I shook his pinkie one last time before letting go. He smiled then turned to the front of the dragon who had been patiently waiting for the command to go, "now let's ride!" Karma said patting Ash slightly who immediately took into the air.

As we started into the sky I couldn't help but scream as I clung to Karma's back, "are you okay?" he yelled worriedly. I nodded against his back and laughed, "yeah! I'm fine, I was just a little nervous" I yelled back. He only hummed as he steered Ash in upward into the clouds. Finally as we got to a point in the clouds Karma stopped steering and Ash slowed down letting me look around at the scenery. The clouds were a pink fluffy color that when I reached out dissolved in my hands, I smiled, eyes shimmering, as I dragged my hands though the clouds. I pulled my hand back to see all the raindrops on it and smirked when I got an idea. Karma had just a bit ago turned from me to look at some other view in front of us, meaning he couldn't see what I was doing. I took my hands out and waited until my hands were doused in water, "hey Karma~" I say smirking. He turned around and right as he was about to ask me 'what', I had put my hands on his face getting it wet. I laughed as water dripped from his face but stopped when I saw steam rise from it. His head was down and I bit of regret filled my stomach and when I was about to apologize he put his hand out into the clouds and pounced on me. He put water all over my face and in my hair before he started laughing.He stood up on the dragon and admired his work, "you thought you would get away would you? You might be my best friend but I give you no mercy" he said with a devilish laugh. I just rolled my eyes and shivered, "hey is it okay if we start getting back? I'm started to get cold and I miss Dina" I said shivering. He nodded and sat down patting the dragon, I was about to grab his waist from behind when he turned and pulled me into his lap, "this will make you warmer" he said looking away, a slight blush on his cheeks. I smiled and snuggled into his chest, he was right it was warm. The steady beat of his heart was pounding next to my ear lulled me to sleep as my eyelids grew heavy and soon I fell asleep.

Sorry I didn't post for awhile! I write this story on a google doc so i've been trying to write the chapters and then transfer them and it's been a bit difficult! Hope you enjoyed!
