It's been a few weeks since the fainting incident. Sage now watches me eat 'just to make sure'. I love him and everything, but it's a little creepy.

Carter is supposed to be coming to visit us. I haven't seen my best friend in so long and I'm excited. I can't wait to tell him the news. I wonder how he'll react.

In addition to Carter coming back, there are many more exciting things. For one, the ultrasound appointment is next week. Sage is so excited to not only see our baby again but he can't wait to hear its little heartbeat. I still think it's a boy.

Another exciting thing is, Sam and Charles divorce went through and we are moving out. Sage can't wait because it means he's done with the gang. He just wants to take Marie with him but we all know that's not an option. Luckily we will be taking Carson with us.

Carter should be here in a few days. I texted him this morning but he didn't answer.

"Is your mom coming with us?" Sage asks. Right now we are packing our bags. Sam already found a house and we are moving into it once we have everything packed and ready to go.

"I think so. I told her she was welcome and she never really gave me and answer." I say as I shove my last shirt into my duffle bag. "I'll talk to her again tonight."

Sam isn't ready to leave yet, but we'll probably leave in a day. I don't want to leave Marie, but I'll visit often.

"I need to find a way to get Marie out." Sage says almost to himself.

"What?" He looks up at me and sits down on the side of his bed. I take a seat next to him.

"I need to get Marie out of the gang. She wasn't raised for it, I was. Her father trained me more than her. I have more experience. I either leave and get her out somehow, or I stay so she doesn't have to deal with it." He says. I rub his back.

"We'll figure something out." I say. He nods.

"I think your mom is back." He says. I get up and meet her downstairs.

"Hey honey."

"Hey mom. How was chemo?" I ask. She shrugs.

"Oh you know, totally fun." She says sarcastically. I laugh a bit but then we both turn somber.

"Are you going to come with us? I mean you kind of have to." I say and she shakes her head.

"No, I don't. And neither do you." She says getting a glass of water. I make a noise that screams 'what the hell do you mean?' "I got a house. Well, an apartment." She smiles.

"You did?" She nods.

"It's in the district and not horribly far from here." She says. "It's nice. And you will be living there."

"But mom," I begin and she puts her hand up.

"No buts, Eden Elizabeth." She says firmly. "If you're all packed, which I know you are, we are leaving tomorrow."

"What does she mean you're leaving tomorrow?" Sage asks walking into the kitchen.

"She got an apartment and I'm moving in with her." I say. He raises his eyebrows and his eyes widen.

"Okay?" He says looking between us.

"Sage, you have to understand that I just got my daughter back. And I'm dying. I don't have much time left and I would like to spend time with her. Living with her and actually being able to be a mom is what I want." She says. I feel tears gather in my eyes at her words.
