Yoongi ♡ Vampire [request]

@Atlas7teen requested another vampire Yoongi imagine after reading the one in my first imagines book

I huffed as I could feel my body ready to give out on me. I was having a nice relaxing time sitting by the river when two vampires caught a whiff of me and I had to get the heck out of there. I managed to lose them but they quickly caught up. Running from vampires is exhausting.

I made it into the streets where there were lots of people, but the two guys were still following me.

"That's the third time this week." I sighed to myself. "What's the deal?"

I glanced behind me and saw them getting closer. I broke out into a sprint and ran as fast as I could. I'm not dying tonight. I turned the corner and bumped into somebody.

"Ah! I'm sorry." I quickly apologized.
"Follow me." he said grabbing my hand and pulling me down the street.
"What? Wait!"
"Shh!" he shushed me and pulled me into an alleyway.

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his chest to keep me hidden as he watched the two vampires run past the alley. I could hear the man holding me inhale deeply.

"Oh man. You do smell good." he whispered.

I pulled away from him feeling uneasy about his sudden comment.

"What? You're one of them?!"
"Yes but I'm not mean." He quickly defended himself.
I crossed my arms, not really believing him.
He sighed.
"My name is Min Yoongi."
"Why did you do that? Why did you save me?"
"I saw you by the river earlier. Those two guys were lingering close by and I could sense that they were planning on attacking you."

He was watching me?!

"Were you stalking me?" I asked.
"No! Well... maybe, but not in a creepy way!"
I rolled my eyes.
"I've been watching you for a while. I'm not sure why, I just felt some sort of connection to you and I felt like I had to make sure you were okay all the time."
"You don't even know me."
"I know." he sighed in frustration and ran his fingers through his dark hair. "Can we go somewhere? I'll explain everything the best I can."
"I don't know." I trailed off.
"Look, I know you can't trust me, but please give me a chance to explain myself and maybe gain your trust."
I stood there mulling the idea over in my mind.
"We can go somewhere where here's lots of people if you feel comfortable."
"Okay." I finally agreed.
Yoongi let out a sigh of relief.
We left the alleys and headed down the street.
"By the way, my name is Y/n."
"Y/n." He smiled softly.

We stopped at a small cafe and sat down inside.
A waitress came up and asked if we wanted anything. Yoongi declined, but I ordered a cup of tea.

"Okay." Yoongi sighed. "What would you like to know?"
"Why did you feel the need to "protect me?" I asked using air quotes.
"I don't know. Like I said, it was a feeling. Like... a vampire thing."
"What do you mean?"
"Like... well... vampires have something like a soulmate. When we see our soulmate we get this feeling like we want to watch over them and protect them. I've never found my soulmate and then one day I see you and..." he trailed off, getting shy as he explained.
"You're saying I'm your soulmate?"
He nodded, biting his lip.
I blushed a little. I barely know this guy, yet my heart flutters hearing that I'm his soulmate.

"Why didn't you approach me sooner?" I asked.
"I was scared." he admitted.

The waitress came over and gave me my cup of tea. I thanked her and watched her walk off. I turned back to Yoongi.

"You were scared of what?" I asked, silently urging him to go on.
"That you would be scared of me."

My heart hurt a little hearing the sadness in his voice when he spoke.

"Hey, I'm not scared of you." I said unconsciously reaching across the table and grasping his hand.
He looked down at my hand over his and I could see a faint blush on his cheeks.
"It's so weird that I'm going to say this but, I trust you." I spoke.
"You do?"
"Yeah, and I feel like I... have some sort of feelings for you."
His eyes widened.
"Are you lying?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"Listen Y/n." He began. "If you really do have some sort of feelings for me you have to be sure. You need to think this through before you accept my feelings."
"For some reason I feel like I don't have to think about it."

I big gummy smile formed on his face making his cheeks look round and cute.

"So you accept my feelings?" He asked.
"Yes." I nodded.

I finished up my tea and Yoongi kindly paid for it.

"So, do you maybe wanna come to my apartment with me and hang out for a little while?" He asked.
"Sure."

Yoongi and I walked down the street until he stopped. I could feel something wasn't right by the way he was acting.

"You've got a delicious smelling young lady with you." An ominous voice remarked.

Yoongi's arms immediately wrapped protectively around me.

Two men dressed in dark clothes walked up to us. I immediately stiffened as I recognized them as the guys from earlier.

"Looks like we found you." One of them grinned.

Yoongi's eyes turned a dark red and I could see his fangs extending as his lips were drawn back into an angry snarl.

"Oh. I get it, she's your soulmate and you don't wanna share." The taller one said stepping closer.
"Leave us alone." Yoongi said, his voice threatening.
"I'm not scared of you." He chuckled.

Yoongi let go of me and lunged towards the guy, pinning him to the ground in one swift move. While he was dealing with one of the vampires the other one was lurking towards me.

"Y-Yoongi." I whimpered.

He turned around and saw me about to be cornered. He quickly got up and attacked the second vampire before he could get to me. He had him down on the ground punching his face mercilessly.

Yoongi stood up breathing heavily as he stared down at the unconscious vampire. He turned around glaring at the first vampire who was still on the ground. He bent down next to him and grabbed his neck.

"She's mine." He growled. "Don't you dare even think about attacking her again, if you do, I'll kill you."

The man shakily nodded as Yoongi let go of his throat and stepped away, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"C'mon babygirl. Let's go."

AOTD: I've been really into Neko Atsume for the past month or so. It's really addicting. I've also consistently been playing Super Star BTS, JYP, SMTOWN and PLEDIS since they came out.
