"Police! Stop! Put your hands up!"

The man turned slowly and put his hands up. His light brown hair sat on his head just the right way. He was wearing a suit and dress shoes.

The police were inching in on him.

He saw me in the window and put his arms down.

"Put your hands up!" The police yelled again.

He refused.

Peter put his arm up and pointed to me. He mouthed "For you".

I tried to yell stop but nothing came out of my mouth.

Then, he grabbed a knife out of his pocket and slit his throat.

I turned away once I knew what he was doing. When I turned back around, I saw him lying on the ground, his brown hair wet with blood.

I screamed and fell to the ground.

I woke up and I was on the floor screaming. My face damp with tears.

"Shut up, Ms. Perfect!" The girl with blue hair yelled.

I scrambled to my feet and sat back in bed.

She was sitting up.

"Some of us would like to sleep until at least eight."

I looked at the clock and it was four a.m.

I fell back asleep and woke up four hours later.

Today was moving day.

I rolled out of bed. Nobody else was awake yet. I grabbed all of my boxes and placed them neatly on my bed.

Bea called me, "We are on our way!" She screeched.

"I'm all packed!" I screeched back.

She was there in less than five minutes. Mr. Richards signed a few more papers and then we got in the car.

I thanked the Richards again then went up to my room to unpack.

They painted it blue, my favorite color and bought me new sheets and pillows.

Peter texted me and Bea and asked us to go to a restaurant to celebrate.

We rode the bus to Olive Garden and sat down at a table in the corner.

"How does it feel to be a free woman?" Peter asked me.

"Just dandy." I kissed him.

Bea looked disgusted but we didn't care.

I found my true love.

This was my happy ending.
