Long lost son...

chapter 3 |gone...|

Levis POV

I began to slowly wake up....I don't remember much besides getting shot....

Then it all hit me WHERE IS HANJI!? AND WHERE IS JAMES!?

I sat up and looked around and saw Erwin looking at me.

"You're awake now...."

"Where is hanji!?"

"She is fine...she is in the room next to us resting...."

"Where is my son!?"

He stayed quiet and looked down....my heart sunk.

"Erwin....where is my child...."

He sighed "we don't know..."

My eyes widened and I clenched my fists "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT KNOW ERWIN!?"

he sighs "I sent scouts out to look for him but no luck....we found you and hanji unconscious while the window was open and your child....was gone"

I couldn't believe him...this was a dream...one sick Dream...

I got out of bed and started walking to Hanjis room.

Erwin didn't try to stop me and I kept walking till I opened the room she was in and saw her looking down....

Moblit saw me and Decided to leave me and hanji by ourselves....

"Hanji?..."

She stayed quiet and kept looking down....

I walked over and sat on her bed holding her hands.

"Hanji....please look at me"

She slowly looks up at me and I saw tears coming from her eyes.....

I gently wipe them away and gently stroked her cheek....

"Levi....I'm sorry"

I didn't say anything besides pull her into a tight hug kissing the top of her head....

"Its ok hanji....there was nothing you could do about what happened....I feel just as guilty"

She hugs me tightly "what If they don't find him Levi!" She cried into my shoulder.

I rub her back "don't say that hanji...we will find him...."

She clutched onto my shirt crying "I just want him back Levi...."

I stroke her hair "Me too hanji....me too...."

I made her look at me and kissed her passionately.

"I won't give up on him...we will find him...I promise"

She nods and I kiss her once more giving her as much love as I could offer....

We were both hurt....we lost our newborn child....its something I never wanted to think about....and now it happened....

I laid her down gently with me as I held her close to me....

I kissed the top of her head..."it will be alright hanji....I promise"

She didn't say anything but continued to hug me tightly....

Why do I keep loosing people I keep close to me....

What did we do to deserve this punishment....

I guess I will never know in this cruel world....

After Levi went to go see hanji I couldn't help but keep thinking about what happened....
