Udos POV

It was early in the morning and I was getting ready to leave....

I finished putting on my uniform and placed my helmet on....I looked at my bed and saw the cravat...

I smiled and grabbed it placing it in my shirt....for good luck.

I ran downstairs and saw mr leonhart eating breakfast.

He smiled softly and walked over to me when I told him about Annie....he didn't take it too well....but I know he still has hope "Leaving?"

I nod "yep...."

He sighs and places his hand on the top of my head "good luck Udo....bring Annie home...."

"Thanks dad....and I will"

I left the house and ran outside to see my friends waiting for me.

They smiled "ready for war Udo!" Gabi said excitedly.

Falco sighs "it's not that exciting..."

She glares at him and I just laugh....

They smile and we began walking to the docks.

When we arrived all the battle ships were ready and the soldiers were getting their weapons.

"Let's get our gear guys" falco said walking up to the soldier giving out the gear.

We got our weapons and walked to the ships to see reiner talking with Zeke and the warriors.

We walked up to them "are you guys going airborne?" Gabi asked

"Just me and Zeke, pieck and porco will be going with you guys" Reiner said

Pieck smiles and walks to the boats.

"Well good luck guys..." I said smiling.

Reiner grins "you too...be careful guys"

We all nod and walk away to the boats....

"We leave in 5!" A soldier said...

We walked on the boat we were assigned and sat next to pieck.

She smiled and waved at us.

I sigh and look down....I hope my comrades stay safe.

Pieck places her hand on my shoulder and smiles "nervous?"

I nod "yeah...."

She sighs "I am too...."

I look at her "really?....I mean you have a better chance at surviving than we do...."

She looks at me "I know that but it still hurts to see my comrades sacrifice their lives for me....and this enemy....I worry this won't go smoothly"

I nod "I agree....and the fact they have Titan shifters as well...."

Pieck nods "Eren jeager will certainly be a challenge...."

"I've heard he can't even use the power of the founding Titan" I look up and see porco walking up to us.

"Really?"

He nods "that's what Reiner said but then again he isn't for sure, and the only way to use it is if you have royal blood"

"So your saying Eren jeager isn't royal blood?"

Porco shakes his head "no but there is a royal blood there"

"Who?"

"Historia Reiss...."

I look down "I see...."
