Anticipating the Return of Christ
As time passes by, life will only grow harder;
Though our trials make us stronger;
For as we continue to traverse this world,
We hold on firmly to God's Word.
We do not allow anything to deter us;
In our Father, we place our complete trust;
In times of joy and in times of pain;
We look forward to when Christ returns on that great day.
In God's Kingdom, where there are no more tears,
Our hearts will be freed of sorrows and fears;
No longer concerned with our rough earthly past,
We will have finished our sojourn at last.
