That You May Not Falter
People are bound to cause you pain;
People are bound to do you wrong;
Though if you focus on the One Who strengthens you throughout the day,
You shall remain firm and strong.
The way other people treat you
Does not determine your value;
Hence, when they attempt to bring you down,
Do not back away; stand your ground.
The Lord will help you to defend yourself
Against your enemies; He will grant you the strength
To overcome any obstacles that you encounter
In this journey, that you may not falter.
