A Bright Future Awaits
A bright future awaits;
Hence, why shall I fret in the face
Of these trials that surround me?
The Lord God is with me.
Every step of the way,
He is there to provide me the guidance
That I need; hence, I do not shake
In times of distress.
For those who trust in the Most High
Shall overcome pain and strife
That they encounter in this life;
They shall prosper day and night.
And on the return of Jesus Christ,
Their sorrows shall vanish in the blink of an eye;
Surely they have a place in the Kingdom
Of God, where there is eternal freedom.
