In The Arms Of The Almighty
It is from the Lord alone
That I have received true happiness;
The greatest hope
Is to be found in the greatest friend.
And I would not trade this for the world:
The knowledge of God's Word,
Which has led me to the light
And away from the lies.
Because of His kindness, love, and mercy,
I was delivered from darkness,
Pits where I once thought I would be safe;
Traps that threatened to ruin my chances of being saved.
I shall boast of His goodness
To those around me;
That they may also find the peace so genuine
In the arms of the Almighty.
